We did love the place and love supporting local…but the last 3 or 4 times we have ordered from there the order has been wrong or messed up. I called tonight and was willing to drive 12 miles back to town…I had my tag from the order…I explained what was messed up..A very unprofessional gentlemen was like well I don’t know what to do blabla. Unfortunately we will not be returning again.

The food as always was great. However, our server tonight was horrible. He was rude and then rude again. He ignored us, never came back for refills or asked us how our dinner was. We had to ask someone else for a to go container and when my husband was waiting in line to pay the bill, he walked over and my husband asked him if he could have the bill. He handed it to my husband very rudely and walked away. Food may be good, but service like that makes your dinner experience, horrible

Pretty good food, I asked for a rare steak and it came back a little overcooked still delicious, the fries were not the best but the rice was delicious.

This is one of those spots that’s hiding out in rural Kentucky that only locals know about. We stopped in and were surprised by the quality of the food and the taste. The salsa served in most Mexican restaurants is on the bland side and needs to have Pico to fix it. Right off the bat noticed the salsa was different. Very good flavors, chips were house-style. Nothing special. I had the ground beef chimichanga and it was excellent. The seasoning reminds me of a place back home in California. Red sauce only no cheese sauce or what Kentucky people call queso. Con Queso means “with cheese”. it’s not a sauce. STOP. Steph had the shredded beef tamales with what we think was their enchilada sauce. Excellent again. No queso, shredded cheese is OK but again, not a sauce. All and all we will be back.. very good..

Great place to eat, a little pricey for some items (drinks are 3$ so I’d recommend getting water) but the food is amazing and well worth it

This was the very first Mexican restaurant I ever visited as a teenager and it’s where my love for Mexican food truly began. Even though I live in Charlotte now and haven’t been back in over a decade, this place still holds a special place in my heart. I believe there’s even a photo of my mom and brother from a birthday celebration hanging inside. Thank you for being such a meaningful part of my life and memories.
