I loved it. If you’re looking for a place that truly values great service, delicious food, and friendly people who offer a warm welcome, this is it. We went there after a nice hike in Point Loma, and Cesar was incredibly kind. A great place overall!
Sure, what do you feel like?
“How about Mexican?”
I know just the place!
And off we went to Miguel’s Cocina. Having been there a few times before and this time I had the Camarones Jalisco and my date had chicken fajitas.
Ruth, our server, brought their famous home made warm cheese dip and some of their in house made chunky salsa while be perused the extensive menu.
The food came as described and was hot, smelled fantastic and tasted even better.
Ruth stopped by several times to make certain our dinner was being enjoyed and ask if we needed anything.
The only thing you will need is help down the stairs from eating too much and heavy to go box because the large, generous portions are a challenge to finish in one setting.
Come hungry!
Hands down the best Mexican food in San Diego!
I was barely on my 3rd tortilla chip when, wham! The food was ready to be enjoyed. Quick service…attentive staff. Awesome view of the bay.
We got the veggie enchiladas and mole tacos. It was a decent sized plate.
Definitely will come back again.
NEGATIVE: The young lady, a shorter brunette maybe 5’01”, who ushered us to the table said and I quote, “you three follow me.” Our party was a mature one with people in their 50’s and older. I believe she can be educated in treating guests properly.
Price was fair for what we got. The meatball soup was delicious. Nacho’s left a bit to be desired but were not horrible.
Drinks were ok but the mule was not mixed properly and tasted fairly bland as well. Margarita was over sweetened.
I would give them a try again as we’ve always enjoyed all Miguel’s bit the queso being tasteless was a reall bummer.
Chips and salsa were good.
Price was right for the quality I guess as it was happy hour.
