We had breakfast at this place during our travels to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, and choosing to eat here turned out to be a really good decision. The toast topped with a slice of salmon was the highlight among the items we tried. I had some doubts, but the staff were more than happy to help me out. We left with a warm and welcoming feeling.

Not the most amazing food you will ever have but it’s relatively affordable for Switzerland standards and it’s decent. They have lots of options to choose from their buffet and I found it to be a good value. There’s lots of seating and it’s open and airy. Feels like an Ikea food court but with much more options.

Yet, get their breakfast offer. It is usually only 6 CHF for a very substantial breakfast (+1 or 2 CHF for the second hot drink), which can be easily shared by 2 people. This is a savior and a very decent option for anyone not willing to overspend on eating out.

Prices are very good, you can have full meal for less then CHF 12. Quality is totally fine for the price. However, not a lot of choice in hot veggie plates. Quite meat oriented.
