Appears to be a locally owned hard working family who runs this place. I’ve eaten here twice and the cabbage rolls are just like my mom made them when i was little! Whatever mayo/garlic sauce they pair with it is additive!!! Tasty food, nice people.

Check it out!! Drove by 1,000 times without noticing, but someone mentioned this spot & I decided to try it. Very understated storefront, but don’t let that mislead you. Read on. MIF Deli (Mediterranian International Food – had to ask). Just west of Carriage Parkway main entrance, northside, facing Central. Quaint, very clean. Deli counter, but also table service. My wife had the daily special ($14.99) which was Chicken Puffed Pastry, served with a cup of soup or salad (chose Lentil Butternut Squash). I had Chicken Humos Shawarma ($12.99). The special was a HUGE helping. The cream sauce was savory and properly portioned, the puffed pastry was crispy, flaky and delicious… and the white meat chicken was moist & tasty. Served with pita strips. Wow! On to the shawarma. What can one say, other than excellent? Hummus was superb. Generous serving of pita strips on the side. Yum! Service could not have been better. So, this demur little deli went well beyond my expectations. I say “Put this on your bucket-list of Wichita eateries.” Highly recommended!
