I visited on Wednesday and ordered the Soupy Sandwich, while my grandmother had the turkey grinder. Everything was delicious! The bread was incredibly fresh …my grandmother didn’t stop talking about it!
They even slipped in a free slice of pizza for my child, which was such a kind touch. I believe it was the owner who did that.
I live all the way in Bloomfield, Connecticut, but this spot was worth the trip. I’ll definitely be returning in the near future!

Pizza is how I remember it, not great, kinda tough. The grinders are actually well worth it. The bread is soft and fresh, the cold cuts are high quality and the condiments are excellent.

Quick stop for road pizza after leaving the beach, what a fantastic surprise. I think of myself as a pizza connoisseur enjoying the best various areas of CT pizza. This was different, and damn good! Thick crust and dough, good sauce, friendly and quick service. Had the extra cheese and it was cooked to perfection. See ya next beach visit.

I ate there for the first time today owner was a great guy friendly and accommodating. Made a special pizza for my grandfather which was much appreciated that he is 93 and does not chew so well anymore. Please support this fine establishment.

I just came home from Midway because unexpected post-wedding day guests arrived at my house during lunch time. Although they were obviously very busy with orders, Midway prepared a beautiful, delicious, last minute antipasto salad and several fantastic grinders that were prepared in minutes at a reasonable cost. Thank you, Midway, for going out of your way and providing service with a smile- I will definitely be back to try the excellent meatball and sausage grinder I saw be prepared, I think they call it The Monster!
