Throughout the years this spot became a go to. There isn’t anything extraordinary about this place. It’s just right. There’s always a friendly conversation awaiting to take place. Watching Greyhound passengers anxiously waiting for the bus, taking them away to face their storms, new beginnings. The hotel next door shows the combination of struggle and quiet resilience. Midway is a very special spot in place and time.

The food is excellent but there is a heavy set guy who always has an attitude. He gets smart with you and I don’t know or understand why. Someone like that makes the whole atmosphere messed up. When you work with the public you should be more pleasant.

Passed through this place for lunch and it’s the best decision we made today for our trip. Regina was so kind and thoughtful. She served us with love. Food was tasty and huge portions. I highly recommend it

Order the Amazing Catfish Dinner. The waitresses were very friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable place with a home cooked meal to eat at. We got some more catfish, a huge slice of Carrot Cake and Blackberry Cobbler to go. Will stop again if passing through.

I work for a company that cares for developmentally disabled people. Our group came into the restaurant today, 14 total. I ordered the chicken strip dinner which came with very skimpy and only 3 chicken strips and barely any fries. Took a very long time to receive our food. And when we went to pay only 2 people had managed to pay there bill while the rest of our group waited in line, and that point the waitress had gotten an attitude and demanded to know why we hadn’t left any tips on the table yet. I informed her we planned on leaving a tip and that we needed to pay for our groups meals first. She immediately stated that we were her “only” table. Which I doubt due to the fact it was a very busy place and I seen her serving other tables as well. Needless to say we will NOT be returning due to the hateful attitude we received while trying to care for and feed our individuals due the waitress being impatient.

I have been eating here for several years now.. the food used to be much better and as far as the atmosphere I actually preferred it when they had booths.. it does look nicer but I don’t care to eat at tables with hard chairs,. I’ve ordered chili recently and it has gone downhill it’s quite greasy.. too much oil or something.. BLT’s are good.. the service now is hit or miss.. time before last when I was here I waited about 15 minutes before someone took my order.. last night they were prompt.. I got the Catfish dinner special and it was good but overpriced..
