Wish I could review the food, but I can’t. I waited 30 minutes for a caprese sandwich I never got. They made it, and it sat behind the glass on the counter while the employees disappeared from time to time. The two employees behind the counter seemed like they didn’t know what to do at all. I was the only one in line and they weren’t busy! Horrible customer service and just rude. I do not recommend eating here. It’s a shame because it has potential but nothing about their operation is fluid, it’s a cafeteria so it should be quick and SIMPLE grab and go. There was nothing in the hot box so I had to order. The employees are not trained and it would be a shame if this situation was to happen on a BUSY day.

The food was good quality, and normal expensive on-mountain prices with above average quantity. My single big problem was with the bar prices. It was $45 for a single beer. That’s not a typo; forty five dollars for a regular belgian white beer. And this isn’t on top of a mountain – it’s adjacent to a parking lot. Drink prices are astronomical.

Great place to stop for some fries and a beer to rest the legs. You order drinks direct from the bar and food from the order window and then they bring food to you. The fries are amazing, cooked perfectly. The Flatbreads were also a big hit at our table. We like this place much better than the other bar down at the base, much better vibe.

Very expensive and not that tasty. They also insist to add service even that you order by the window and add 10% tip on every order above 40$. The beer is tasty and has it on tap.

Good chili at an insane price. What can you do, though, at a ski resort. The chili is found in the cafeteria-like area, not the sit down restaurant. You can’t use the 20% epic food discount at the sit down resto, by the way. Lots of cubbies and storage space to place backpacks, shoes, etc. More places to hang things and picnic tables at lower level. Very convenient. As one would expect it gets absurdly crowded between 11-1, so expect to have to hover for a place to sit.

This was Spring skiing at its best. The lodge itself is modest and the bar was open later in the day but the cafeteria was closed when I was there. Enough room to gear up and you can leave your things in the cubbies they have. No lockers but I didn’t feel the need. Great runs on the mountain. A great time!

This lodge is definitely one of the best on the mountain, mainly because they serve great food and drinks, it’s almost never crowded, and the location is great. But if your a weekend tourist like me, it’s almost impossible to get to. There were more than 20 signs that were telling us where to go and it was very confusing to say the least. That being said, I would certainly come back here.

Quiet and uncrowded, small lodge. Good spot to drop your bags if you have a pass or multi-day tickets, but cant get tickets here. Mansfield lodge is more convenient if you need tickets. Also limited food selections (no fries) at the cafeteria. There is a bbq/pub restaurant.
