Our favorite place in brunswick county. All the servers treat us like family. We have tried everything on the menu, except hot dogs (maybe next week) and loved it all. We called in an order from work once for 12 people. They read it back, showing attention to detail. The food was ready and warm for all of us.

When I first walked in, my expectations were very low. Me and my wife were cruising for some lunch and decided to pop in here. When we walked in here, I would describe the atmosphere as stuffy and full of regulars. We felt very out of place for a few moments.
Once we receded, our waitress came over and really set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. She was kind and attentive, gave us the rundown on the specials.
I ordered the chicken sandwich with homemade ranch and a cup of the shrimp soup.
My wife got the burger.
Both of our entrées were fantastic! The service was fantastic! I would recommend this place for lunch 10 times out of 10.

Shame on us for not trying this place sooner! Just because it’s not in Southport or Oak Island doesn’t mean it’s not worth the short drive. Trust us—you’ll be glad you did!
We visit the area 2–3 times a year for vacation, and somehow, we never ventured up to this restaurant until now. Well, that’s changed because not only did we love it on our first visit, but we also came back a second time in the same week!
Everything we tried was outstanding, and the friendly staff made the experience even better. On our first visit, it was a bit busy, so there was a slight wait between ordering and getting our food. But it’s clear this is a local favorite because shortly after we arrived, people were lining up outside.
The restaurant is relatively small with not many tables inside, but there is an outside area and if you hit it at the right time when the sun is not beaming directly overhead, it’s quite lovely.
Let’s talk about the food—absolute perfection.
• The meatloaf? Excellent.
• The macaroni and cheese? Creamy, flavorful, and impossible to resist.
• The onion rings? Outstanding.

We had a wonderful experience with our whole entire experience. Our waitress was the best of the best!! Our food was sooo delicious- Cajun chicken sandwich/ French fries & patty melt burger on sourdough/sweet potato fries was hot hot hot & cooked to perfection….YUMMY. We highly recommend and can’t wait to try something different!!! Their soup & desserts look great also.

The food was amazing, the Mushroom and Swiss burger, it was so good I took my husbad the next day. I had the meatloaf, and she had the pulled brisket dinner. Both meals were good sized portions, my husband eat half and brought some home. Our server was terrific, super friendly and spot on service.

It was so nice to find a delicious (non greasy) restaurant to eat at when vacationing at Oak Island. The prices were fair and there was a great selection of food to choose from. Not only was the food delicious and cooked very well, it was delivered fast. The staff was beyond friendly, too. We enjoyed it so much that we ate their twice in a week. Even our 4 year old approved!

Amazing food , great service , the HUGE fried chicken bacon and ranch on a brioche bun was so delicious, they tenderize the meat before frying it like a fried cutlet. And the bacon was perfection . Also ordered the onion rings as a side with spicy aioli and they were perfectly fried and next to no grease . 10/10

I really, really wanted to love this place – great location and we need more family-type grills. The service was very, very good, let me just stay. Very friendly. The food, not so good. Looks and tastes like Sysco food. I recognize a lot of restaurants use them but it’s usually in disguise by creative chefs who incorporate fresh with the frozen or canned. Sadly disappointed.
