Took my wife here for Valentine’s day/her Birthday while we finished shooting at the range.
I got the breakfast combo with wheat toast, impossible sausage, hash, and egg whites. The food was made fresh and it was so good. Shout-out to that amazing toast!
The lady taking orders was kind of rude. I understand we all come from different backgrounds but no need to have a mini attitude. I did see when it was someone from her culture that showed to order food, she gave them a huge smile and better interaction. So the next time we come and get that same treatment, I’m actually going to knock this review down a bit more.
Overall, have someone else with better customer service serve people with all backgrounds. Food is good though.

All the food I have ever bought from the Cafe has been great. Ive been a member ever since they opened the facility. The choco rush is a must try as well as the red antioxidant. The quesadillas taste just like my mom made then and the chicken sando is probably better than most chicken sando places in the area. Great fries too.

We went here to eat at the Midway Cafe without realizing that the cafe was inside XCAL Shooting Sports & Fitness. So, the cafe employees were good and the food was good too. The atmosphere is lively – there’s lots of people coming in and out, some eating, some going to the range and others working out. Honestly, it was a unique situation for a cafe, but we liked it for the fun vibe.

Very playful and upbeat employees. The food did take a little bit to come out but the fries were SO fresh and I watched them blend my smoothie. This facility is right in the middle of XCAL the gym so it is not a standing alone establishment, there is limited seating and the parking lot can fill up relatively fast.

This restaurant is located in the X-Cal building. Not the best place for breakfast there is no wait staff. And the restrooms on the first floor don’t open until 9:00 when the range opens. So if you need the restroom you need to go up the stairs and through the gym. The food was good however not exactly a diner experience.

Amazing food for an incredible value. I love a good chicken sandwich as a post-workout meal and you get a hefty cutlet with a handful of waffle fries. Perfect crunch and great sauce. The tacos are also phenomenal and you can never go wrong with any of their flatbreads.

Every item I’ve had on their menu is 10/10. I especially love their Reuben sandwich and waffle fries. Even if you’re not a member at xcal, stop by and try their food. This “cafe” can easily be its own successful stand-alone restaurant.

So I searched breakfast in the area in Google maps and saw this place had good reviews. I pull into the parking lot wondering what was going on as it didn’t seem like a restaurant at all. I get out of the car and could see a bunch of rifles on the wall and boy did thay peak my interest. We get inside and see the café just inside the building. It was not at all ehat I expected. We ordered and had an amazing breakfast and great coffee! Afterwards we walked around to check out the gunshop/range area. This place is fantastic! Great food and great service.

One of the best food places I’ve been to in the DMV. Talked to the head chef Jason. Great guy! He made the menu and all the ingredients are of the best quality. They pickle everything themselves and cure their own bacon! A very unassuming place but I’d recommend anyone to try it!
