We stopped in at Midway to try a totally new place for us. We had the fried pickle chips , chicken nachos , Midway’s toasted sub , & the special of the day which was fried chicken with corn & baked potato. Washed it all down with iced tea. The food was good. Our waitress , “Brianna” , was a very polite young lady that constantly checked up on us. The decor was really cool , wood lodge style. Even had a Kawasaki side by side , inside , that they are raffling off. It was a very cool & unique stop. We will be back & will tell friends about the experience….

This was a fun little stop.. the food was ok.. basically fried everything or county fixins.. it wasn’t bad.. just not something I would travel for.. service was ok.. we had come after a large church pop.. so service was a little slow.. which I understand that they needed some time to breath.. decor was totally interesting with the bathroom area looking like a wooden shed inside the building.. there were taxidermied animals all over and has a pool table. It was a cozy feeling and reminded me if cracker barrel was in the woods.. if we pass through again we might stop.. but this isn’t the kind of place I would drive to as a destination.

A very pleasant surprise, stopped next door for gas and decided to go in. Food was absolutely delicious and the inside was really cool. The only downside was that I looked at the menu online and it showed the prices to be way lower than they really were, some items were even $10 more than posted on their menu online.

Decided to give the Midway Bar & Grill a try after moving back to the area after being gone for 10 years and living in Florida. Since I’ve been back here, 2 different people said how good the food is.So I thought I’d give it a try again.
One person in our party had the fried chicken dinner/mashed potatoes, gravy/ coleslaw
One had the catfish w/ Onion Rings/coleslaw
Everything was delicious
Our server was polite and stayed on top of our drink refills
Would recommend, if your in the area to stop by.

This place is a restaurant and bar. Inside all walls and ceilings are covered in wood knotty pine. They have real stuff bear in the corner and heads of deer and elk on the walls. Waitress was friendly and helped me order a bison burger. It came with homemade thinly sliced potato chips. Both were very good. Service was good and I very much enjoyed eating here.

This was our first time going to The Midway. It did not disappoint. The inside was beautifully decorated. The food was amazing! We will be back! My husband and I shared the onion rings. We ordered a half portion, but ended up with a full order. Yum! I had the Midway Cheesesteak with peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It was so good! My husband had the 2/3 pound burger that was delicious as well.

My husband and I stopped by recently. I had heard about this place, and it’s actually kind of funny, it’s near where my mom and dad used to have a cabin when I was growing up, but didn’t realize that until we got there. We loved the Interior, cool place, nice big bar, friendly waitress and prices were decent. Besides us, there were two other tables, each with two people at them when we got there. So not crowded. The two tables had their food. We just got potato skins, onion rings and my husband got a bowl of chili. It took longer than you would expect to get our food considering what we ordered. My husband liked the chili. I like the fact that the breading on the onion rings was not thick, it was a light breading, but tasteless.
Potato skins would’ve been great, because they had plenty of cheese and bacon on them, and they weren’t real thick. That’s how we like them, but everyone is different. As soon as our waitress set them on the table, you could tell they had been thrown in a microwave or maybe they had been in the oven and sitting too long, and then they threw them in the microwave to warm them up again, but they were awful. I saw they had signs that they had liver dumplings, which I love and I rarely get. I believe you could buy by the quart. I asked if it was possible to get a side dish of it and I was told no. So that was a bummer, but their rules.

A fun little bar, and good food… My only disappointment was a) running out of mashed potatoes and b) a catfish platter with only 1 filet? C’mon… Who only eats 1 piece of catfish!?
Staff was great, super friendly, and the place was gorgeous with lots of really cool taxidermy all around.

Cute place. The service was good. Food was hit and miss. Wings were overcooked and hard. Alfredo was bland, but it’s a bar so…fried pickles were good. French fries were like dry unsalted cardboard strips.
