As a born and raised South East Asian woman, I rarely find authentic thai food places. The food at Midori clearly shows knowledge in thai food, as their cook is Thai and gracing us with her experience. Finding a gem like this in Catania for someone like me is making me feel like home. Ingredients are fresh and flavors well balanced. I highly suggest the fresh and fried rolls, as well as the duck. Enjoy!

The food was amazing! There was great variety and ability to make food spicy if desired! We had vegans and vegetarians and they accommodated us with seitan, vegetarian bao options and customized sushi options. Best eating experience in Catania. Amazing service!! Highly recommend!!

The selection and variety of sushi was abundant. I chose to start with that for my first appetizer course. Seafood was so fresh and the salmon roe was so tasty.
The green chicken curry was perfectly seasoned and was quite tasty. I could have used a bit more rice to soak up the curry sauce and extra fresh chillies. However it was an excellent choice to end the meal.
Service was pleasant and prices are within reason.

Been in Sicily for 6 days and it was difficult to find Asian restaurants but we lucked out and found this thai/sushi restaurant and it actually tasted like sushi I have back in Vancouver! Of course coming from Vancouver, sushi is amazing and cheap! Eating sushi in Europe you can expect to pay double the price but I have to say, the tuna here in Sicily is red tuna and of good quality! Usually we do not use red tuna for rolls in Vancouver! Overall this restaurant is more authentic than most Asian restaurants in Italy! Their red Thai curry was also tasty but a bit salty for me!

Was not expecting to have such a good Pad Thai in Sicily. Was almost just as good as what I’d eat in Thailand. The sushi was good but not great, flavours were a bit bland, not sure if it was freshness issue or not. Little bit pricey for what you get.

Absolutely amazing experience and wonderful food. If you’re visiting Sicily you probably don’t think to try Thai/Japanese, but if you want something different …come here. The food, pad Thai, duck, and beef ramen, and curry was the best. We did not try the sushi but I would go back and try it the next time we come. Thank you for an excellent meal!

The best sushi in our lives! Everything was made with fresh ingredients and top notch food presentation. Excellent Thai iced tee for those who wants something something, but without alcohol. Everything we orded was perfect. We even went 2 times to this restaurant, before our flight, because it was sooo good! Stuff spoke in english and the service was good.
Please try this restaurant, so when we will be back in Catania we can go again!

Had a delicious meal! They’ve got two menus – one for Thai and one for sushi. We had a few of the specialty rolls. The super tuna, salmon, and tempura shrimp. They were a fantastic combo.
The server was delightful and impressively spoke Italian, English, French, and Spanish. She was wonderful.
The restaurant itself is quite large with lots of indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar seating.
