The food was fantastic. We had chicken, lettuce wraps, potstickers, miso soup, Michigan rolls, edamame, Japanese sticky, rice, the lemon blue blueberry waffle, a chocolate martini, a dirty martini, and a honey martini.
Everything was delicious just a few notes would have made it spectacular.
Service was great. Waitress did take away a dish I was still working on or would have taken the rest home but to be fair… I was distracted and it is unclear if she thought I was done.
The ambiance was relaxing and appealing.

We had the privilege of dining with Chloe on her first shift at Midori. The food is always phenomenal, and Chloe’s knowledge of the menu on her first day blew us away! She made a great first impression, and was extremely easy to work with! Took great care of us, and did a great job navigating the immense amount of food we ordered lol! Midori is always an amazing experience and Chloe is the perfect addition to their team!

Why the 3 stars? We went for our friend’s birthday and although the reservation was made for 7 pm, we did not get seated until a little after 8 pm. By the time we were seated, not many people were left in the restaurant – and despite the rush having slowed down, the drinks took over 30 minutes to get to us and food another 45 or so minutes. We had to change our orders several times because they were out of the dishes we wanted. The server tried her best to make our experience better, but cannot hide the disappointment because I have heard such wonderful things about this place and was really looking forward to this dinner.
Will check back in a later date – hoping this experience was just a fluke. 5 stars to the lady who waited on us.

This is one of our absolute favorites places! We celebrated Valentine’s Day last night, and it was by far my favorite time there. Everything was so delicious. The superfruit Martini was exactly the drink I was looking for. The food was top notch and our service was great. Firecracker shrimp is always our go to and the rolls never dissapoint. Thank you for a great night out!

Visited this lovely restaurant with a charming patio. Service was friendly and drinks arrived promptly. Sushi orders came in two parts: first three rolls quickly, the rest with a 45-minute delay. Tip: order shareables to minimize waiting. Food presentation was impressive. Overall, a pleasant experience worth trying, just be prepared for potential delays.
The Beef Satay – cooked Medium Rare, would recommend medium at least. It was slightly chewy.
The Crab Rangoon – tasty but the ginger sauce made this dish.
The Drunken Noodles – great presentation, it was delicious! Tip: have the kitchen split this if you’re sharing it.

We’re local but don’t get out to Midori often so I was excited that trying something new was a success. My boyfriend and I went for drinks and dinner, and were both very happy with our cocktails and meals. The drunken noodles with tofu were flavorful and filling.

I have been here plenty of times for several years and always have great service by the manager and wait staff, the food is also great. However, tonight was vastly different. I was informed by several people, staff and customers, the Sushi chef “Andrew” was extremely rude to the incredibly kind wait staff when asked on timing of the food to be out, he degrades and belittles them often. This caused a wait of over an hour and a half for an appetizer and 2 sushi rolls. It’s unfair to the incredible wait staff for an ignorant sushi chef to cause them all this headache. I truly enjoy this restaurant but if this does not change I will not be back. Maru sushi has never been this slow. Thank you to the incredible wait staff.

Great experience here the other weekend. Our service was wonderful! The server and even others were attentive and friendly. There was a problem with our salads and it was handled perfectly. The food was also wonderful.
