Hands down my favorite sushi place in irving. Food consistently taste great on every visit. All of their team members are so nice and welcoming.
Foods arent that expensive either. This place a a hidden gem. They definitely deserves 5 with their quality and ambience.

Hello everyone, so it’s been YEARS since I have visited this fine restaurant. The food remains as I remember it. DELICIOUS. I went during lunch and had the Teriyaki chicken (lunch portion). For a few dollars more you can upgrade your dish to the dinner portion if you are really hungry. Service here remains on point. The other dishes you see in the pics are chicken fried rice and teriyaki & bento combo. As starters they serve Miso soup followed by a small salad. They wait time for our food was minimal. By the time we were finishing our salads, the main dishes were being brought out. Great lunch place. If you like sushi, this place will not disappoint. Stop by if you are in the area.

I really appreciated my server. She was attentive and very nice. The complimentary Miso Soup was also appreciated. I enjoyed one of my rolls more than the other. That could be on me, based on my order. However, both rolls had some integrity issues. It’s a small thing, but I appreciate not having to worry about my rolls falling apart when I dip them in soy sauce. That being said, that could have been a one-off thing.

I need more than 5 stars. This place is awesome and definitely worth the visit. The prices are unbeatable, the sushi (according to my friends) is fresh and delicious, and the service is on point. Try the dumplings and teriyaki if you don’t eat seafood like me! Owners are friendly and really take pride in what they do.

WOAH!!!! This is hands down some of the best sushi I’ve had, definitely top pick for DFW. What a hidden gem. The restaurant is casual, low key, and so affordable. The sushi is FRESH, food all around so authentic. Staff is so attentive. 12/10 recommend.

Nice little lunch spot. Google says they do a lunch buffet but it wasn’t up when I was there so I’m not sure if they only do it on certain days or if it’s not something they do anymore. I got two rolls, the shrimp tempura and spicy scallop. Both were good and reasonably priced. Wish they had online order options but eating in was fine.

I’ve been going to Midori for years. The last 2 times I’ve ordered tempura shrimp the shrimp were not cleaned. I am not talking about a small dot of poop but the whole vein was left in every shrimp. VERY disappointing and GROSS. I don’t eat poop!! Threw it out. Waste of money. It was a to go order both times or I would have complained in person. Probably my last time there. Ugh.

I went for the lunch buffet which was $11.99 plus drink is separate. The place is small and quiet very peaceful, the staff was very courteous and attentive. I would have given 5 stars as the food was great however, some of the sushi had been sitting for a few minutes under the buffet lights causing it to become warm. The tables had chopsticks but I saw other customers with forks so I am sure they offer other utensils upon request. They did have a small selection of beer as well as sake. Overall I would return and recommend that you give it a try.
