If you’re looking for comfort food with a homey feeling behind it, try this place out.
FOOD:
Although I’ve never had Somali food, I gave them 5 stars on food because it had good flavor.
– The Somali version of a Samosa is packed with flavor
– The lamb is juicy and has subtle yet delicious flavors
– You have choice between rice, spaghetti, or mix. I would just get their rice.
SERVICE:
Definitely ring the bell to get their attention, if no one is at the counter.
ATMOSPHERE:
The ladies that cook and serve are humble, quiet and respectful. They’re very sweet and always approach cautiously.

Absolutely loved my experience here! The liver was some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I highly recommend giving this place a try. From the outside you wouldn’t think much of it but the food is 12 out of 10. Simple yet incredible! The lamb was so tender and then got chapati and beans to go! Wow! Really large portions, friendly staff, chill atmosphere.

By seeing previous good reviews I was tempted to taste their lamb shank. The lamb is so juicy and tasty. Even the rice was delicious. I would like to visit again to eat lamb shank with rice. And all those are halal.

This place is so good me and my wife walked in for dinner curious about trying a nice Somalian dish. We got the half-and-half plate with goat and beef. We also try the lamb soup and sambosa with a nice hot milk tea, which was really good.
We definitely were not disappointed. Everything was fresh, tender, and tasty. It’s right across the street from the Loves truckstop FUEL Island. You definitely need to run in here and get you a nice fresh plate. I had the beef and goat and my gosh when I say good!! I mean it’s good!! .
This place definitely made me a fan of Somalian food. The people inside were also very nice. The little girl was very sweet and the mom was very nice. I felt very welcomed. I also bought some Middle Eastern fragrance’s to add to my collection for me and my wife. Definitely a 10 out of 10
