A few days ago I decided to visit this location, as I would see this place on 17-92. My first visit was just before the dinner rush…and was very impressed by the experience. I would for sure go for the Neapolitan style pizza — I have tried both…New York style and Neapolitan. This place is like a gourmet pizza restaurant, where you get your fresh oven fresh pizza served to you. They make everything right there in front of you, and you get your food really fast!
You do have to get your own soda/tea refills. Also nearby are plates/silverware, or a “to-go” box if you need one. This has become my “go-to” pizza place.
Today I even signed up for their “frequent” VIP program. I have posted this on my Instagram, but will share some images here…

You can order a reasonably healthy meal. Especially if you start with a simple large salad. Most things are made to order so omissions and substitutions are possible.
For example you can order the house salad as vegan.
(The salad tomatoes were ice cold – fresh out of the refrigerator. I assume that storage error was thanks to it only being open a week…)

Ordered a pizza with vegan cheese and one without cheese. The margarita no cheese was an 8/10 — the best pizza in Maitland by far. The vegan cheese was a 2/10.

Tables were not cleaned or cleared. Dirty dishes sat next to us for a good 15 minutes as employees walked around, not overly busy. When our food arrived I asked for utensils and was told I could get them myself, “over there.” Wow, nice service. And finally, the food was just not that great, especially considering the price point of the food, it was very mediocre.

I had driven past MiDiCi several times as they were getting ready to open in Maitland, and wanted to try them out. Tonight, I finally had the chance to do so, and I’m so happy I did. My family and I enjoyed two pizzas and two desserts… WOW! I’m a big fan of Neapolitan-style pizza, and MiDiCi has nailed it! The desserts were also fabulous.
