Very homey, inclusive, family-run establishment. They have your typical schwarma, kebab, gyro etc, but they also have other specialties like a breakfast bandari burrito, kefta, and shakshuka, which is almost like the Middle Eastern huevos rancheros.
A big plus for me is they make all their own breads in house as well. It makes this place feel very authentic and not just another Sysco peddling food service place. A true hole-in-the-wall kind of experience. Strongly recommend.

This place is a gem! Food was so fresh and flavorful , vibrant and exciting. So happy we stumbled across it. The very nice woman at the counter walked us through the menu and offered us recommendations. We left full and happy and with some fresh baklava for later. We will be back and highly recommend this place to everyone!

Amazing! That says it all. The end.
Amazing – service, owners, team, location, tea and FOOD!!!
Our business group met here today and all 15 of us were blown away at the service and gratitude the owners (Eli and Diana) provided. They treated us al as if we were the only people in the world and they were beyond kind, friendly and gracious. That alone makes this a place you must go to.
Add to it that they have amazing food and it’s a gem in the area. We were there during breakfast time so we all had coffee, tea and their breakfast sandwiches and pizzas. Absolutely fresh, absolutely tasty and absolutely worth it. I should have taken more food photos but photos don’t matter when compared to the taste.
And this bread… whatever it’s called. The best I have ever had compared to any pita, tortilla, flat bread, whatever. These giant bad boys are the freshest and tastiest things I’ve had in a very long time. I’ve never experienced a bread product so fresh or that blew me away with the taste. I have a new addiction in those. $7 for them is a steal.
I highly recommend this spot to everyone and am beyond thankful that we will be there at least once a month to enjoy. We came from all over the valley and we will spread the word.
Cheers to great future in business. If you keep your quality and service you will make it a long time. I know you added 15+ fans today. Thank you all. Can’t wait to come back.
PS. Baklava!!! 🙂

I’ve been eating at Mideast eats since they first opened, and it has consistently been one of my favorite spots in Phoenix. Everything is fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious! My go to has always been the chicken Shawarma wrap on their incredible Sangak bread. Today I tried the chicken Shawarma salad in an effort to be healthy. I honestly didn’t expect it to be as good as the wrap, but wow, was I wrong! The warm perfectly seasoned chicken over cold, crisp vegetables, all topped with their homemade vinaigrette, completely exceeded my expectations. The flavors and textures were amazing together. Truly, everything they make is top notch. Everyone I’ve recommended this restaurant to has loved it just as much as I do.

We had a wonderful lunch here at MidEast today. The staff, especially Diana, were genuinely welcoming and made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding—truly the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in the United States. A special mention for their Sangak bread: we ordered two and absolutely loved it, and it’s something we rarely find anywhere else. The quality of everything was excellent. Highly recommend!

Dr. Johnny Chanchang and I appreciate having been able to order from here during lunch or before closing. We enjoy being in a nice, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The food is great and comparable to the Persian Room with authenticity, flavor, texture and good pricing.

From the moment I walked in the service was great. The staff gave me menu recommendations and were very friendly. I ordered a chicken kabob bowl with hummus. The hummus was fresh and delicious as well as all the ingredients with a large portion. The staff also gave me a sample of yogurt with fresh pita chips which was sooo good! I will definitely back. Give this place a visit and you won’t be disappointed

I’ve eaten here a couple of times and everything is amazing. I was just in for breakfast and really enjoyed the breakfast bandari sandwich and it was delicious. When I was here previously I had the kefta kebob which I thoroughly enjoyed as well. Their service takes it over the top. Everyone is friendly and helpful and will describe anything you haven’t tried before to help you choose what to try. I’ll definitely be back!
