TLDR: delicious Southern food. Amazing service. Supporting a business who supports the community.

This is a great spot for some finger-licking good Southern food! The founder dinner was seasoned well and paired well with a little hot sauce. If you get the dinner, it comes with 3 sides. You can get 2 sides if you get the smaller option, which may be good if you don’t have as big an appetite. I got the dinner because my eyes were bigger than my stomach but zero regrets because the green beans, Mac & cheese, and baked beans were so good!

I would mention that the food is cooked to order so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get your food, whether that’s to go or if you stay in the restaurant. You can sit inside at any of the high top tables or outside if the weather is nice.

I definitely plan to be back the next time I’m in town!

amazing food… even more amazing people. seriously this is the sweetest couple my husband and i have ever met! they were nothing but welcoming and excited it was our first time being there. we were heading on a road trip and saw them on google and knew we had to stop there. we always try to support small business instead of going to mainstream corporate places. the things they do for the community are absolutely amazing. we enjoyed talking to them so much hearing about their journey i hope they continue to thrive and kill it as they and their food deserves it!! thank you guys so much for being awesome people never stop!! ❤️ IF UR IN THE AREA OR CLOSE YOU NEED TO COME HERE!!!

All the food was great, I’ve had better pulled pork and chicken but being born and raised locally this was a new place to shake up my normal routine and will for sure be back for more! service was awesome and they cared and were speedy on getting the food out. Definitely worth every dollar.

Middleton’s Village Barbecue is hands down the best ribs and hospitality I’ve ever experienced.

The ribs were absolutely unreal — perfectly tender, packed with flavor, and clearly made with pride and experience. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. Him and his wife were phenomenal — welcoming, genuine, and made us feel like family the moment we walked in.

Honestly, the warmth and care they showed was so real I caught myself thinking, “I wish they were my parents.” That’s how good the hospitality was.

This isn’t just barbecue — it’s heart, tradition, and love on a plate. If you’re anywhere near South Carolina and don’t stop here, you’re missing out big time. We’ll absolutely be back.

We (the whole family) have been fans of this restaurant since it opened. We have dined in ( when you still could) and for the past 2 years or so, have solely done takeout. Sadly, the quality has been declining for a while, but our most recent order, (Feb. 6, 2026), was not only EXPENSIVE, but also TERRIBLE! The fried ribs were fat, tough and greasy. The okra was soggy. The potato salad was thin and runny. The mac-n-cheese was ok, but not worth the price. For $100.00 plus, I don’t expect to fight gristle and fat for a sliver of undercooked, tough pork. Thanks for all the great meals, but…sorry- we won’t be back until things improve.

Very good pulled chicken sandwich. Made me think of my mom’s cooking. Definitely worth a stop and dine.

I personally don’t care how it taste I seen your story on Facebook and I just want to come support. It’s so commendable to see a young BLACK MAN doing such great things for his community. It’s refreshing these stories don’t get enough attention or accolades. I’m staying in Reno now but when I visit my people in GA I’m definitely coming to see you. Kudos KUDOS KUDOS

Ran out of ribs when we were there. Great service and nice people. Wish there were real restrooms to even wash our hands. Loved hot lemon pepper on the chicken wings. Pricy. No collards greens.

The bbq is good but this is genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He has a true passion for his craft and I’ll be back for sure.

No exaggeration it was some of the best pulled pork I’ve had. It was like biting into a hickory log- no seasoning or sauces needed. Check out Village Foundation where the owner Elliot Middleton repairs old cars and donates them to persons in need in the community.
