This was our first time at Middle Grounds. This place was recommended by our kayak /paddle board guide. We were amazed by the service and the food quality. It was delicious! The absolute must try is their Warm Fried Cheese Cake! We loved it!

One of the best restaurants in the area. The seafood was fresh, I had the highly recommended local grouper and it was tasty. The calamari was crispy and tender. Crab cakes were okay, not lump crab. Service was good. Definitely a place to visit when in the area.

Overall Great Restaurant. Came to celebrate 6 year Anniversary. Food was on point. Creole Egg Rolls for appetizer..Wifey got the red snapper, and I had the Mahi Mahi— both recommended specials and they were superb! Everyone was very friendly. Our Server Mel was Awesome and prompt! She even had a special dessert made for us to help celebrate! They had Live Music as well and Valet Parking.. Would definitely return if in the area again!

Always a fantastic meal, presentation, and service! The calamari appetizer was crispy and light, my dinner included the crusted red snapper and the lemon infused crab cake, and I finished with the upside-down pineapple cake and fried cheese cake, they are all excellent choices and highly recommended. The parking lot was full, so I utilized their complimentary parking, fast and good. It is one of the best fine dining establishments on the beach.

I have never had a bad meal here. Again, I forgot to take pictures because I devoured the food. I ate the sirloin, the husband ate salmon. We probably finished our food in less than two minutes. The steak was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were on point and the Caesar salad may have been the best one I’ve ever had. The Strawberry Smash drink was so delicious and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a great restaurant near the beach. The quality is a step above!

My husband and I love this place. The food is so fresh and has great flavor. Every time we visit the West Coast of Florida we eat here. Defiantly a must for people with high expectations on food flavor, especially when it comes to eating fresh seafood at the beach. Doesn’t taste frozen. Good selection of wine too.

Not sure I’ve met an unfriendlier and less experienced combination at a staple restaurant…. I had high hopes & was w my mother so that is a thing, too…. Live music was great, atmosphere warm and fun, app delicious, entrees terrible… I just can’t get over how poorly we were treated by 1 Bartender & how inexperienced the other was…. Examples: ordered a custom perfect Manhattan & asked for cherries, got the cheap bright red ones… Saw the good ones, Bartender : “you didn’t specify”…. Mom: “I’d like a dirty martini”…. Bartender : “would you like olives?”… Enough about her… The other one was just flat rude, refused to serve or help us in any way…

Excellent service. Food was good. The calamari was delicious. Prices is above average compared to a steakhouse but average for a restuarant on the water. The lava cake was denser then I was expecting but was not too sweet. There seems to be ample parking. I would recommend.
