I flew out the day after Christmas and This place was right next to my gate so i decided to stop here for a beer and some food . The food wasn’t the best as they were out of many things, the chicken was still frozen so that eliminated many of the menu items and there was also only one person working in the kitchen.
However I will say that despite the issues they were experiencing the 2 ladies who were working the bar and dining room were wonderful. They made us aware that their regular delivery had not come in yet due to the holiday. They also contacted the manager about some missing items and as my plane was getting ready to board I saw a cart of items being delivered. This was definitely an issue that was out of their control.
The burger was supposed to come with homemade kettle cooked chips but they were out and all they had were tortilla chips

Super tasty burger with sweet tomatoes and real potato chips, came out quick! Server was pleasant and friendly. The Middle Ages pale ale was delicious and I am NOT much of a beer person, just trying to take the edge off of a delayed flight. Would definitely eat here again.

Let me start by saying the bartender was outstanding. She treated everyone single customer like a small town regular. You don’t get that in airports.
The fact that this company refuses to take cash is ridiculous. It’s lazyness. They probably don’t want to deal with a cash drawyer. They also probably don’t want to deal with Brinks or whoever would have to facilitate the cash. Too bad. I heard at least 4 people complaining about them not taking cash and it also slows down the bar as a result of all the CC transactions. Cash still exists and just because we’re sitting held hostage in the airport doesn’t give you the right to restrict how we pay because you’re a lazy company. Speaks volumes. Get a clue.

At tiny Syracuse Int’l Airport, our sit-down restaurant options were either Johnny Rockets (should’ve gone there) or Middle Ages (we chose poorly). For an appetizer, the Pretzels with Ale Cheese ($10.99) was way over-cooked, burnt & inedible. Mercifully, our server took it off the bill. My French Dip (roast beef w/side of au jus dipping sauce; $15) was good, but the under-cooked French fries were disappointing. My other five traveling companions did not enjoy their meals. But, hey, it’s airport food – where else you gonna eat? :-p // P.S. Our overworked server was wonderful & did her best in this small, crowded restaurant.

Food was terrible. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich that was microwaved. Menu says fries and was given a bag of chips. When I asked why there were no fries they told me they were out and walked away. Sadly I ordered it to go and had already paid and left her a tip. Waited over 20 minutes for a microwaved chewy sandwich. So disappointing.

Plane delayed? Feeling nervous about your flight? Stop in and grab a brew. Service was not quick as we had 3 waiters switch out over the course of one beer. If you like supporting your local brewery then give them a try. Beer selection was small yet still hit the taste buds.

Ordered the avocado toast with pico de gallo and bacon. The bacon was great, but the toast barely had avocado and the pico de gallo is missing a few ingredients to make it pico de gallo. All topped with an overcooked hard boiled egg – sulfuric.
Don’t eat here.

It was a good place to sit while between flights, and the service was great. The food was not good though, and overpriced which is expected due to location and lack of options.

Burger is the cheapest frozen patty out of a bag… Definitely the grossest tasting meat I’ve had, and it costs $20 with chips and nothing to drink. Servers won’t come to you.

There are 2 confirmed facts about the burger served with a cooked cold patty. People don’t like it and it’s not freshly made. Chips are dry and chilly. Do better for a $24 burger. Disappointed with the waste of money.
