They have a great selection of soul food however it seems like it taste different every time. The Mac and cheese is disgusting and so was the cheese broccoli not cheesy at all.. the chitterlings where ok with vinegar and hot sauce , however it tasted like wasn’t cleaned properly it left a slight aftertaste.. not all the food is good or bad. This is one one those hit or miss places.

Food is delicious but you’ll probably run into a cockroach in your meal any day (I had it happened), a homeless man comes into the store and harasses ppl for money once in a while, also prices are too high, they have a pretty good bar so I’ll give them that.

After a few visits I have to update my review. The food is consistently good and the sides are well seasoned. The fried seafood/fish is good, yet would be better seasoned a little heavier. The portion to price ratio is a great bargain for the cost conscious. During the last two visits, I have discovered that this is a great community gathering spot. While the patrons are primarily African Americans, the customers are diverse and generally friendly. The mix of good music and quality drinks are a vibe. I will have to visit during football season, the large screens plus the above detailed atmosphere could make this a great game day location.

My husband and I literally just left from dining in this restaurant. We came from North Carolina to visit Maryland and this place was the worst part of my trip!!! I ordered a seafood boil bag and the Cajun sauce tasted as if they emptied an entire box of salt in it. We paid $40 plus dollars for the bag which the price was not the issue it was TOO SALTY!!!! I could not eat it, and the next issue was there was an entire group of individuals inside the restaurant drinking, I’m assuming regulars that were very loud and obnoxious. You couldn’t even hear yourself having a conversation at your own table let alone enjoy your food if you could. Not only were they so loud and cursing they were playing music on a speaker at their table louder than the music the restaurant was playing. One individual was getting ice from the bar to go outside and poor beer in it that he had outside. I have never in my life experienced anything like this before. It was like a live party literally!!!!! I noticed other customers were looking as well like what is this!!! Need to say I will never come back or recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely awesome atmosphere. We has a small birthday party in a prerecorded section of the restaurant. Everyone could see tge tV to watch the Sunday NFL games. The staff was courteous and friendly.

So many people recommended this place to us. We decided to go visit since friends and family were visiting. There is a large menu and several drink items to chose from. The restaurant has most of the side items already prepared and displayed like buffet style for you to see. They sell cakes and other desserts too. The food was good. The shrimp was pre-breaded and not fresh caught shrimp. The tilapia and catfish were good. Most of the our friends liked the food and would go back again

Mid Atlantic Never Fails to serve up all goodness!! ☺☺ I’ve been there several times but this time I treated my hubby and our son. They were, stunned at how big the portions were and how the food tastes like home cooking!!! From the fresh fruit to the seafood to the meat loaf, EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC AS ALWAYS!! ❤ No matter your taste I’m sure you will find something you’ll love at Mid Atlantic!
