The K Green Show
2nd review- 5 stars:
Went to eat on a weekday and was seated promptly. Weekly deals on appetizers and drinks during happy hour. Deviled Eggs were good and the stuffed chicken was very good. The grits were my favorite but I would have like to taste some chorizo. Overall a very good meal.
3.6 stars. Micki’s on Main is a cool spot on the square. Visited on a Saturday night with a decently crowded room. Beautiful sitting outside under the awning at dusk. Our server was nice and attentive but some others seemed to have a bit of an attitude. The loss of the star this review comes from the 40 minute wait for our food.. only ordered some basic food that we had to have boxed up so that we were not late to our show at SKYPAC. Our somewhat watery drinks came out quickly though. Will have to try again to see if it was an off night. No food pictures because I was walking and eating…

Wonderful experience! Delicious food and great service. We went during happy hour, $5 cocktails and other discounts on drinks and food. We had the deviled eggs and gumbo too (not pictured). We had two of the specials of the night, Halibut and Duck. Everything was cooked to perfection!

Great little please to eat. The raw oysters were great but the bbq shrimp were lacking just a little in the taste department. The beer was ice cold so I will definitely be back for that.

Went to Micki’s last night and had a great meal and drinks with my wife and her friend who’s in town for the weekend. I had the pork chop, and it was fantastic. My wife had the crab cakes, she was really happy with that and her friend had a very well prepared filet mignon au poivre. Her steak was ordered rare and it was perfectly cooked. We each had a signature drink for the first drink, most of the signature drinks are in the sweeter side. They do have burgers and sandwiches and such, but you can order from the 440 menu that is connected, and we were there for my wife’s birthday so we went for the upscale fare.

Been here many times and have never been disappointed. If you are lucky enough to be there for the annual crawfish boil, get there early before they run out! The chefs absolutely know what they’re doing!

Bowling Green’s hidden jem! This place has amazing drinks, excellent food, and awesome staff. The attached restaurant 440 Main offers a fine dining experience if you’re into that, but Micki’s makes 440 Main’s menu available to you in addition to their bar menu.

Quick to seat us! Food was great and really affordable. Outdoor seating is perfect. Great location to Fountain square.

When we arrived we found a place to sit and it was about 10 minutes before anyone ever spoke to us or came by our table. The server was pleasant, but seemed to know little about the menu. I asked for a cold beer in a frosty glass and got neither. The beer was cool at best and the glass was slightly cooled. We ordered burgers cooked medium well and supposedly Cajun fries. The burgers were burnt on the edges and greasy. The fries were not hot and crispy. They were warm and limp. The Cajun seasoning was very heavy on some fries and nonexistent on others. This was the WORST meal I have had in BG. We use to go frequently to Micki’s and had not been in a while. I was very disappointed!

Found this place while a quick overnight stay in Bowling Green and loved it! Dee Dee the bartender was so amazing, welcoming, fun, and all around a really nice individual. She made us feel welcome and enjoyed the conversation. The food and drinks were both excellent. Wish there were more places like this around still.

This place is amazing. This was my 3rd time visiting within a couple months. Took my mom and my son this time for their first time and everyone enjoyed the spinach dip and my mother and I loved the Ribeye entrees. My son enjoyed filet Au poivre. Not cheap but it was worth the cost!!
