I wasn’t there to eat. I was there just to check out the karaoke with some of my constituents from work. And I’ll have to admit for my first time walking in there. It’s beautiful, doesn’t seem too extra by any means. As soon as you walk in, you just get a comfortable feeling. The staff was on point, very receptive and the crowd, there was very cool fun and collected. It’s definitely worth giving a shot. If you haven’t tried it out, bring a couple of friends and prepare to sing because they’re karaoke nights are fun and they have a very decent variety of songs. I’m a very special music lover, so i’m used to going to karaoke bars and not finding the bands.I like, but this one had the majority of what I wanted highly recommend.I will be back

Have been a fan of Mickey’s for years. Haven’t been there for a few months. Something has changed. Placed my to go order and was told 10 minutes. Arrived, went to the bar, and waited. 5 minutes went by, staff at the bar, was testing shots. Asked about my order and was told someone was checking. 5 minutes later a staff person picked it up from the counter and asked if it was mine. Very poor service, and when I got home the sandwich was soggy. Chips were good but I won’t be back. Surprise if this establishment stays in business.

Food is average. But the bathroom is filthy. Had throw up all over the stall toilet and floor from the night before and urinal was out of order. If the bathroom is disgusting, I wonder what the kitchen looks like.

Excellent service by two gentlemen staff members very attentive. The food was excellent as well. Had the fried egg sandwich and the fish tacos I recommend this place atmosphere was also fantastic. Great little Irish pub.

Mickey’s Irish pub was our brunch stop on our getting to Des moines and I must say it was well worth it. Starting with the food whoever prepared it took their time to do it right, meat taste seasoned and well prepared that we appreciated.
Our server Aly was very nice and did her job very well.

Breakfast food was pretty decent – the pork on the huevos rancheros was particularly delicious; the Irish plate with eggs and hollandaise was good aside from the steak being super chewy and way overcooked, otherwise both dishes were good. Drinks were good, the cucumber mule was super refreshing. Prices seemed fair enough. Servers were attentive and good service.
