I came here for a bar crawl on a Friday night. We sat at the bar and had drinks.

The couple next to us said that the food was good so we decided to order some dinner. I had the mini bouillabaisse which had shrimp, mussels, calamari. The sauce was a garlic tomato base and very tasty.
My friend had the chicken parmigiana which was a v÷rye large portion. I tried it and it was good. During happy hour all food is 30% off.

The bartender got into a disagreement with a patron, both were wrong. Thus the 3 system rating.

Wow, big free parking lot. We walked in and we sat at the bar. It was early. We started off with a few drinks. I then ordered there Wednesday special which was a 16 ounce steak potato. $32.99 . G had the other special which was the pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and some broccoli. We were served bread, and butter.all good

This place was amazing. We were walking by and thought we would try the sweet happy hour deal. We quickly discovered the food was amazing. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the guy playing the piano was hilarious and really talented. We had a hard time leaving because it was so fun! Definitely our new favorite place.

What a night!!! We happened upon Mickey’s, on the alternate Elvis Sunday, so we missed the dueling Pianos, but we’re not disappointed we still had a full show!
The food was 100% made for each and every order. We really got lucky walking into this place last night, and normally I don’t indulge in desserts but their cheesecake was amazing. The atmosphere and vibe was such an experience and the staff and service were a hit. If you are looking for a show and great food, highly recommend stopping by.

Great food and so much fun!
Been back many times and always a blast! Last night took some friend to disco night and they loved it! Food was fantastic as always, so consistent. Our server was great and so accommodating with me as I have dietary restrictions. Seriously one of the best in Broward and a must for fun times on Saturday disco night!

This is place is a MUST go. I wasn’t expecting much from Mickey’s because of the the location and you arrive the interior is kinda dated. However the money was spent on the quality of FOOD. The portions are huge! We had so much food. The best part was during Happy Hour the food and drinks are 40% during summer months. You really have to go!!!

Without question the biggest lamb chops I’ve ever had, and they might be the best too honestly. The sauce just blends so well with all the flavors from the lamb chops everything including the presentation was amazing. I’m currently not eating carbs and the bar tender one was amazing and the sweetest girl ever, without question allowed my request of a sugar free mojito she was the best! Definitely have to come here, food, the drink and staff are just amazing, I’ll be back next time I’m in Fort Lauderdale my new go to spot. AND THEY HAVE 40% OFF THE MENU FROM 3-6 EVEN ON WEEKENDS THATS INSANE!!!!! And the spicy sauce for the calamari was definitely best sauce I’ve ever had paired with calamri.

We went there last night for dinner, Sean the bartender was absolutely terrible. He brought my drink, but forgot about my friends drink, when I reminded him after he cleaned 4 seats, he was upset and gave me attitude. Once he brought her drink over, we asked for vodka rocks and splash of soda. He brought us vodka and cranberry juice, when I informed him it was wrong, he ‘huffed’ rolled his eyes at me and said what was it that you wanted? The food and atmosphere were great, he truly ruined our night. I was in the biz for 20 years, if you are burned out take some time rejuvenate and come back refreshed.

The new venture out last night was at Mickey’s Downtown Bistro at 4331 N Ocean Dr. (A1A), Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, just a tad South of Commercial BL) offering a delicious fusion of Italian, Middle-eastern, and some American favorites.

A somber atmosphere but is perfect for a bistro with live entertainment (black painted ceilings and flooring), but each table is covered with fresh white tablecloth (the entertainment starts at 8pm – I don’t know what type of music they perform because we had a reservation at 6pm). Regardless, our food and service were excellent. This time of the year, Mother Nature is kind to SOFLO. Last night was a perfect comfortable weather less the humidity. No outside seating but the front of the restaurant has retractable/collapsing window panels, and last night, naturally, they were open. Upon sitting down, we could feel the gentle ocean breeze caressing the atmosphere, subtle and pleasant. Our cheerful server, Chad, brought some crispy-crusted bread with some knock-out home-made relish. Wine was ordered, but I’m a beer guy – Chad suggested a season-crafted pumpkin beer among others, and I went for it (let’s say that it was “interesting”).

A very challenging menu made it hard to select because every item seems so inviting, but Chad simplified our selection. He suggested we start with the firecracker calamari for appetizer and he recited a lengthy chef’s specials, among them was the 24oz bone-in pork chop covered with bacon morsels mixed in with sautéed mushrooms over a reduced down white cherry sauce. Needless to say that my eyes opened wide while my jaw dropped on the table. Of course, Chad saw my excitement; he winked at me and said “Trust me on that one. It’s a winner. Go for it. You’ll love it!” 2 of us ordered it and one got the chicken parm over a pile of linguini mixed in marinara.

Chad’s recommendations were spot-on. The calamari was thick and tender served with the chef’s special blend of fiery spices which continues to tickle your tongue for a few minutes while waiting for our entrés. That pork chop was humongalucious (huge and most delicious). Now, for a thick bone-in center cut, often times the center around the bone is pink to raw and the edges are dry. This pork chop was surrounded with a thick border of fat preventing the edges from drying while releasing its succulent flavor in with the cherry sauce. The 24 oz cut was cooked through, tender and moist evenly. My friend said that the parm was delicious as well. We left at 7:30 and the place was full… maybe people waited to eat just before the dual-piano live entertainment.

The menu prices is slightly elevated compared to competitors of the same caliber, but the 24 oz chop was only $35. Will I go back? Certainly! They have parking in the front but is shared with another Italian restaurant. Reservations preferred.

Not worth it at all…

Poor service, Food average at best. Wa came AFTER the happy hour to skip the cheapskates and maybe get a better meal. DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE.

The antipasto for 2 was just a mass bizarre items all thrown on a platter. What even was that supposed to be?
My bouillabaisse was boiling hot. Had to wait 5 minutes to even eat it , and by then all the seafood was overcooked.

After those 3 fiasco’s dishes we just left and had a Pizza from the strip.

Don’t be fooled by those 5 star’s you see, this place is not that.
