BEST ice cream in Clermont area. I am a huge critic on ice cream and genuinely this is such a hidden gem. Incredible flavors, texture, and serving size. Service was awesome. Such a cute place inside as well.

Amazing homemade ice cream with new flavors released every month. I tried the Pineapple Upside Down Cake flavor, and it was absolutely delicious—light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The Sandollar and Rum Raisin was just as incredible. The ambiance was beautiful and truly elevated the experience, creating a relaxed, island-style vibe. Such a wonderful place to enjoy a sweet treat. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about Michell’s! The owner is super friendly & nice. He has pride in his business and loves to share his story with everyone who stops in. The atmosphere is chill, with a Caribbean vibe.
The ice creams are custom flavors and so creamy and delicious!! I recommend stepping out of your flavor comfort zone and try something new. The Sorrel was so good, made with Hibiscus!
I highly recommend and will definitely be back for more!!!

If paradise had a flavor, it would taste exactly like visiting Michell’s Tropical Treats in downtown Groveland. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by ocean-blue walls, gentle ukulele tunes, vibrant tropical décor, and the sweet aroma of toasted coconut drifting through the air. Their Caribbean-inspired vibe instantly transports you to a breezy island shore.
Their Sea Turtle flavor (yes, named after the majestic sea turtle gliding through warm tropical seas) is pure magic—swirls of caramel and fudge with crunchy pecan “shell” bits, all in a velvety vanilla base that somehow captures the calm of the ocean.
The Black Cherry is bursting with real fruit, tangy yet smooth—like summer in a spoon. Then there’s the Coconut Crush, a dreamy blend of creamy coconut and tropical sunshine that makes you feel like you’re sipping from a beachside coconut under the palms.
And don’t even get me started on the Triple Peanut Butter, three layers of peanut-perfection (silky peanut butter, crunchy peanut bits, Reese’s!) that’s absolutely addictive.
Every scoop here tells a story, and every visit feels like a mini‐vacation. Whether you’re a beach bum, a flavor adventurer, or just craving a cool escape, Michell’s Tropical Treats is your sweet island getaway.
I’d give them a standing ovation—and my taste buds do to!

This spot is by far the best ice cream shop I’ve ever been too, with over 30 flavors to choose from it’s like you’re in a ice cream heaven .. Oh I forgot to mention it’s Antiguan own. The flavors represent different places in Antigua. The staff and owners are very welcoming.. You gotta bring your family out for a good time..

We got to meet the man behind the vision! He told us that he doesn’t sell ice cream, he sells happiness!! Ben, Liv and I agree! The shop is named in honor of his Momma! And the green thumb wall represents her love of gardening. The bright colors and fun music make you smile as soon as you walk in. They make all of their ice cream flavors right in the shop too! We have found a favorite spot right in town. And the scoops are humongous!!

The best ice cream I’ve had in a long time! TRY THE TROPICAL GUAVA! We also loved the chocolate mousse and Baileys. On top of that, the staff was very nice and friendly. We are definitely coming back!

This is consistently some of the best ice cream and the staff is wonderful. They always have some core favorites (Soursop and Rum Raisin), lots of fun new creations with unique fruits and flavors, at least one sorbet with seasonal flavors and a couple nondairy options for those who can’t have cows milk. We will periodically go in for a couple multiscope cups to take home and keep in the freezer. It is hard not to always get the soursop. The toasted coconut (nondairy) and ruby guava we got today were fantastic!
