If you are traveling between Harrisburg and State College and looking for a place to eat other than fast food, I would recommend Michelle’s Restaurant. It is ½ mile east of the Reedsville Exit of Route 322. The slice of pizza I had was fantastic. I’d rate it a 9.5 out of 10, thin crust and very good. I would have given it a 10 if I had gotten a whole pie instead of a reheated slice. I am usually skeptical of steak sandwiches, but I ordered one. I would give it a 9 only because it was not on Philadelphia roll. The house made roll was fresh, light and fluffy, easy to eat. Steak was good not Steak-um.

me and my 2 kids walked In to get something to eat at 1:35pm to get some pizza they told us sorry if we didn’t call ahead of time that they were closed in 20 more minutes and they were being not making any more food because they already cleaned up even though they’re signed clearly says breakfast lunch and dinner apparently they don’t do dinner on the weekends or what past 1:30 p.m.

First of all, I was in this area on a Friday and the sign showed a Friday night special, two large one toppings for 17.99. So I ordered take out. While waiting, I noticed the food being taken to patrons and I saw the biggest and yummiest looking cheese steak! I knew we had to eat in one of these times. Anyway, the pizza was awesome and the service was great so I knew I would be back!
We returned a few weeks later to try these subs. The place was pretty busy but only one table didn’t have their food. I do not know how long they were there before me but it was a long time until they finally got their food. We ordered our food. We waited, waited, waited. Another couple came in and placed their order. We waited. Another couple came in and ordered. We waited. The second couple that came in, had their food within 10 minutes. We waited, we’re getting mad, it’s going on an hour. The first couple that came in had their food about 20 minutes after the second couple got their food. Our sodas went empty, we were not asked one time if we needed a refill. We finally got our food. We got two cheese steaks and two sodas, that’s it. The steak was only warm, the bun was a little hard on the outside. We were not checked on at all. I was very disappointed in that second trip. I don’t know if I will try it again. Part of me wants to since our first experience was good but I don’t know

VV committee goes there once a month after a meeting. The table is set up ready for us when we get there. They remember what we each usually order. Who likes coffee and which ones prefer water with lemon. Even on a busy morning, they keep smiling.
