Michelangelo is a true gem! The Italian food here is absolutely delicious, from the fresh pasta to the rich, flavorful sauces. Every dish tastes authentic and is beautifully prepared. To finish, the Italian dessert we tried was amazing — full of flavor and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel right at home with their attentive and friendly service. If you’re looking for authentic Italian flavors and a wonderful dining experience, Michelangelo is the place to go!

Such a special night here! Had a large 22 person dinner party here for our rehearsal dinner the day before our wedding. Antonio was amazing and super helpful throughout the whole reservation and planning process. He was even helpful with making some menu accommodations and suggestions. The bread, House salad, Pollo Marsala, Rigatoni Tre P, and Pappardelle Alla Domenica Rossa (with penne instead) were all super delicious. It was also much more economical than some of the other restaurants which wanted you to spend a certain minimum $, we could pay per person here which was great!
Everybody loved the food here and we can’t wait to go back.

They have a surprising amount of really good vegan options and can make different dishes vegan.

Great restaurant if you’re looking for a Saturday brunch restaurant or a great Italian meal as they have it all on their menu. All the dishes are well presented and very flavorful.
They have alfresco and indoor dining and the hosts, Giuseppe and Antonio are warm and welcoming always. They have accessible parking, which is a real plus in the Silverlake neighborhood and as a rule there is no waiting for either brunch or lunch, which is also a plus, Overall, I would rate it an excellent dining choice

It is a good option when you are craving Italian food. The ambiance has good intentions but feels slightly unfinished. Still, you will find genuinely enjoyable dishes, many of them large enough to share or take home. Overall, the flavors are well executed.
This is not a fancy dining experience, but rather a restaurant that delivers a comforting, close to home approach to Italian food.

I swear this place has the best pizza in town, reminiscent of the great pizzas of Naples, Italy and that’s hard to beat! I also strongly recommend their fried calamari for the lightest fry dough ever. Never thick or greasy. As light as the best tempura and with a delicious warm tomato sauce to dip them into…yummmmmm!

Sammy was a great waiter. I love this place. They made the best eggplant parmigiana. Everything was great here, the ambience, the food, the service and the price was not expensive at all.

We really enjoyed our meal here! Everything is reasonably priced, very fresh, and delicious. I had the fettuccine Alfredo which wasn’t heavy and it was perfect. All of the food comes out piping hot as well. The service was great, everyone was super sweet! Definitely looking forward to going again!

Having had the privilege of staying in different parts of Italy, enjoying meals made by local families with fresh ingredients from their gardens, and even working at a high-end rustic Italian restaurant near Beverly Hills in my younger years, it’s been a long time since I’ve experienced food of this quality. But here, while spending time with my beautiful wife on our date, I finally did.
The mushroom soup with truffle was outstanding. I’m not usually a big fan of truffle, but here, it worked beautifully—we almost ordered an extra one to take home.
Both the Risotto di Mare and Tagliatelle with Sausage and Goat Cheese were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The pasta, the sauce, the proteins—everything was spot on. This wasn’t some deconstructed, overly complex dish involving dry ice. This was food made by your best friends who just happen to be Italian and know how to cook.
Though I grew up near Silverlake and have passed this building a thousand times, this was our first time dining here.
The service and atmosphere were excellent, with the staff working hard to ensure everything was just right. Lots of laughter from all the tables, including ours.
Even though we don’t live nearby anymore, we both agreed—this is a place worth the drive. Without a doubt, it’s now in our top five go-to restaurants. We can’t wait to come back.
