Just stopped in to Michelangelo pizza and restaurant today for a quick bite. We were greeted by Kylie being the counter who was very nice and helpful when trying to decide what to order. Doug, the owner was back there as well spooning the dough for his next masterpiece of a pie.
There was so much to see in the front counter from huge calzones, zeppelin, and various pizzas. Today we ordered a plain slice with built in garlic knots with pepperoni, a grandma slice and a white slice.
The pizza came out hot and crispy! The flavor was delicious with a nice balance between sauce and cheese, seasonings. They were generous when I asked for garlic powder too! The dough was crisp with a nice crust and the taste, just perfect.
I look forward to our next visit and ordering some main dishes. The calzone, rolls, zeppelin in the crib are very tempting!

Easily the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Burnt underneath and unmelted cheese on top on a plain pizza. A stuffed pizza also had the bottom burnt, and the dough inside raw. I don’t know how you could pull that off. A sausage and pepper hero that had 85 percent peppers to 15 percent sausage (a half a sausage on a hero?) I placed this order through slice. When the restaurant was given the opportunity to rectify the situation, they stated that they made everything perfectly and that they do not work for free. This shows no ownership of your criticisms and you will not last long in business, let alone the service industry. I will go to Gerardo’s or Mama Lisa instead, like I should have. They have excellent pizza, but I wanted to try something new. Never again.

I have to say I’m disappointed tonight. I love the Sicilian pie from them. And always get the garlic knots. Tonight. The sicillian was barely cooked. Cheese not even melted. Just sad. I’m some parts cold.

Food has been going downhill for a while now but I won’t be coming back again. Was just given a completely raw pinwheel. Only cooked part of the dough was the crust.

Came here with my family for Pasta night. There was 8 of us. They have a cute little dining room in the back of the pizzeria. The girls who helped us were very nice and sweet. The salad had a great presentation & was very fresh. The food was good with good portions. My family had a great dining experience. We recommend it and we will be back.

Since the new ownership has taken over, the place has gotten excellent. Great food and huge selection. Their Sicilian slices are nicely portioned and taste great. Sauce is included with knots!!! Their knots are a meal in themselves. Huge selection of desserts as well. Only about 3-4 tables for lunch so be aware. Love this place and we will be back!

Tonight I’m stuck on the side of the highway because my tire was long gone into the woods it went. My husband and brother in law were trying to figure out how they were getting the tire back on and a nice gentleman had stopped to ask if we needed help. He introduced himself and we did like wise. Come to find out he was the owner of my favorite pizza place. After listening lightly to the men introducing themselves and Douglas stating he was the owner I had to but in and tell him that was my favorite pizza place. Quoting “Thursday night pizza”. Their food is amazing. The pizza is always fresh, soft and made to perfection. The employees are always happy and greeting you with smiles and professionalism!!! Will always be my number 1 pizza place!

Pizza, subs and garlic knots were all delicious and made fresh to order. They have a very small pizzeria seating area with more room in the restuarant portion to the rear of the place. So I highly recommend this location for take out. I will definitely be back.

3.4 rating?? I’m surprised. I order a 4 topping large pizza. I got maybe 10 pieces of each topping on the whole pizza. Got like 6 pieces of pineapple on the pizza. It was a topping i paid for n they r that cheap? Paid $27 for this one pizza n it was trash. I will never return and highly DO NOT recommend this place. Go to Carlos on William Floyd parkway.
