The last few weeks I have ordered here multiple times. Lexi has taken my order the last few times. We ordered a grilled chicken salad with extra chicken and extra cheese, willing to spend the money. We spent a total of $37 on our order to receive 6 pieces of diced up chicken and onions, with hardly any lettuce and cheese. The box was hardly filled up as well. We are not pleased. This has happened multiple times now.

We had Michael and his staff cater our daughter’s wedding in September. Michael made the entire process easy for us and was very accommodating to our needs. We have never been disappointed with a meal from Michael’s Tavern and when we learned that he could cater our daughter’s wedding, we didn’t hesitate to hire him. Everything was delicious and we had several compliments from guests on our food that night. We highly recommend the roast beef, stuffed chicken breast, and the strawberry feta salad! Michael is very knowledgeable about the needs and requirements of event planning. He made our day so much less stressful on us.
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to cater any type of gathering. We had 200 guests on the Southside of Pittsburgh.

Everything was nice. Staff pleasant especially for how busy they were. I ordered the southwest steak melt. It was good but very salty. Will go back again. Prices are awesome.

Yesterday I was invited by an old friend to check out Michael’s Tavern in McDonald. I was promised some of the crispiest/delicious wings around and was told the burgers are best of the best as well. So I grabbed a wingman (lol), and my parents to go check it out. My dad pretty much gets a burger everywhere and absolutely loves a good old fashioned regular burger. Mom doesn’t order burgers out very often, but they both decided to order based on the recommendations. Well they both absolutely loved their burgers!!! Dad’s not easy to please when it comes to his burgers either lol. So thank you!
Now for the wing’s. My buddy and I split 3 flavors of perfectly cooked and crispy wings. Makayla and Ethan (a sauce named after the owners kids), Steel Curtain, and Crazy Cajun Garlic Parmesan were our first timer choices. BOMB!! Crispy outside and tender inside covered in incredible homemade sauces. That combo of crunch and deliciousness pushed them into my top 3 favorite wings I’ve had since coming back home to Pa. I’m so glad Josh messaged me to check them out! Appreciate it man. You guys are putting out some great stuff!
Shout out to Renee, our bartender and server, who was absolutely outstanding. Thank you for taking care of my parent bc I was an hour late… oops! We really enjoyed the hospitality and the warn welcome from the regulars.

Hard to get food when it’s hard to get a server to take your order and even when they do get your order that doesn’t mean you’ll get it ordered a pizza waited an hour and then was told they forgot done with this place and it’s a shame it’s pretty decent inside. No photos because I didn’t get my food.

I can honestly say this is the best hidden gem! Not only is the bar a great hangout spot with excellent food and great service! But their new catering company is the best! I have now had them cater two different functions (diaper party and baptism, as well as many funerals luncheons for our families funeral homes) and never have the disappointed! The extensive menu allows for everyone to enjoy something. And let me tell you the pasta with meat and roast beef…to die for! Michael is great to work with…he’s quick with a response and never lets you go hungry as he always over prepares!
