This place is amazing. Went for the first time on a Thursday night for steak night. This is not one of those fancy restaurants that you have to wear a jacket, no just come as you are. Our server was awesome. Got the 40oz Ribeye, medium-rare. Perfectly cooked. Perfectly seasoned. Not overly expensive for a 40oz. I will be back! And I would definitely recommend. Do yourself a huge favor go check this place out. You can thank me later.

No greeter, bar tender called out from end of bar “just one” would u like booth ? Let me choose booth in bar area. A lady brought me menu and specials. Busser brought water, came back later and took my order.
I ordered 32 oz prime rib med rare. Was served end cut with about 24oz eatable meat the other 12 where between three rib joins. It was drenched and sat in a pool of a very garlic au jus. Before I took a bite the busser or maybe he was server at this point did quick check on my meal and never returned. A water refill was given without asking by I believe was a manger but did not ask things were. I requested the bones be bagged up for my dog which was done with efficiency. And asked if I wanted to see the dessert tray , which I declined. When the doggie bag was returned I had to request the check. After a seemingly long wait the check it came and it was wrong.
Instead of $60 it came as $50. I thought that was a nice gesture thinking the end cut was last piece of prime they had this evening. after another long wait I stood up and put my coat on. Thinking that would be a message to get bill paid. I had to ask to pay bill and was led to cash register to pay by Apple Card.
When I advised the two ladies handling the transaction. That is when they corrected the check.
I advised them I thought it was a discount based on the quality of the prime rib. I was told Inshould have said something and they would have given me another cut. Well to that I was working and needed to return to work and med rare is not an uncut!
Needless to say I won’t be bringing my family and extended family here.
PiS the steak (prime rib) was so tough … it pulled a knife name!

My daughter and I went this evening and it was ok in the beginning. The waitress was very polite and kept coming to the table to refill my drink. The food took about 45 minutes to come to the table. When it was time to go it took about 30 minutes to get the check and when we got the check our checks were all mixed up so we had to wait for the manager to come to the table and fix them which took another 30 minutes because she was to busy setting up other tables for other customers. I always thought the paying customers come first but I guess that’s not the case for this place. We will never go back there again!!

Thursday night steak special can’t be beat. $45 for 40 oz porterhouse, t-bone or prime rib plus two sides. Porterhouse was very well seasoned and cooked medium well as requested. Seafood platter was also good. Fried scallops and flounder were especially good. Service was excellent. Very old school atmosphere…very local feel in a good way. Would definitely go back.

I loved everything about my experience, the comfort of the settings and the staff was so inviting. The price of the food was awesome for the amount and the excellence of it. Everything was tasty and I will continue to go back!

The atmosphere feels nostalgic and homey. The service was very friendly (Rosa was awesome ), and that was one of the best crab cakes I’ve had. I’ll be back!

Don’t be fooled by the appearance. This place is packed full with flavor!!! Went during restaurant week and was delighted. The service was excellent. The steaks were huge. And the crab chowder was full of crab meat. The imperial was chunks of crab. I can’t believe this is my first time patronizing the establishment. They appear to have daily specials ( you can get a 26oz steak for $17 on Tuesday). The baklava is made fresh and warm when it comes to your table. The bread was massive and warm! First impression is the charm and I’m impressed. Too much food to finish the meal. The vegetables are lacking, but everything else over shadowed them so no loss there.

My partner and I patronized this establishment 11-25-23. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our server Oscar was tentative and polite. I ordered a (Medium Well) Sirloin & Lobster Combo. My man ordered the Sirloin & Crab Cakes Combo. There was a bit of a wait for our food to come out. I’m unsure the actual reason but it happens sometimes, no big deal. My steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We both agreed our steaks were delicious! I would recommend this location and specifically the Sirloin Steak.

Went to Michael’s for my birthday as a less expensive alternative to Ruth’s or Capital Grille. This place is old school in every sense of the word.

Noticeable cleaning agent smell and weird drink menus made ordering a little challenging. The food saved the day though. We got stuffed mushrooms and crab balls and both were tasty and excellent. Entrees ranged from crab cakes to fish to NY Strip to 32oz prime rib. All of them were served to perfection. Trust me when I say you won’t go home hungry and will likely take home leftovers too.

Prime rib was supérb, yet Fred Flintstone sized. NY strip was great too. A little on on the med-rare side, but not enough to send back. Crab cakes were great and made traditionally without a majority of filler. Everyone loved the food.

If you’re feeling nostalgic, then this is the place to go. The decor is old school but the food was excellent.

Drawback: tip was included on the bill (we had 5 at the table).

Recommended.
