My husband and I came here for breakfast today, and it was fantastic! My husband had the standard scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes and potatoes. It was so nicely presented when it arrived. I ordered the taco pancakes, and those were superb! I’ve never had something like that, and it was so creative. I was a bit skeptical of the flavor pairings – avocados and pico de gallo with pancakes and syrup – but it was delicious. They even gave me disposable gloves since the dish was messy to eat. Much appreciated! I also had a very nice cappuccino and passion fruit juice. The atmosphere is playful and bright. Stuffed animals sat at each table. It was a nice touch. Service was friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and hope to come back again while we’re in PC.

Denver waffle with toast replaced by gluten-free waffles.
Both were delicious.

Michael’s Restaurant in Panama City is hands-down the best breakfast spot I’ve found after over a month here. Fluffy omelets packed with flavor, insanely good French toast that’s crispy outside and custardy inside, and perfectly crispy bacon that’s addictive. Everything is executed at an elite level—fresh, generous portions, spot-on seasoning. This place is pure joy on a plate. 5 stars isn’t enough; it deserves 10. Absolute must-visit.

We were lucky enough to finally get to visit this amazing place after seeing so many great things on TikTok- this one deffo exceeded expectations. Tina was amazing, informative, and very welcoming! They even did a short song for my wife’s birthday (cape included) it was a great experience. Will be returning for a quick visit before we fly out the same day! The teddy bears are unique in a cool way. Pictured is the hot chocolate- amazing!!! And the beermossa….don’t knock it till you try it- it’s delish!! The margarita flight is a must! (Also pictured)

I asked the waitress if the passion fruit juice was natural before ordering. She said yes, but when I tasted it I could tell it was from concentrate, so sweet and did not taste like passion fruit. I let the waitress know, she offered to change it for an orange juice, but I declined. They still charged me for the juice, which is ok, but don’t say your juices are natural and serve concentrate. The steak was absolutely delicious and made up for the juice.

I went here by mistake. I will definitely be going back again and again. Food sooo delicious . I am a New Yorker and food means everything to me. It was so awesome. 100 percent service and courteous. The restaurant is beautiful ❤️. Will you give it a try. I can say you will not regret it.

The food was delicious! We were greeted by Michael himself, which is always a nice treat to meet the owner. This is such an American location, I began referring to it as the embassy: The menu items are barely disguised as local classics, very American entrees, and giant portions. Kind of a quirky vibe with the tropical decorations, and giant stuffed animals at tables. Definitely kid-friendly.

Michael’s is truly a gem in Panama City! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome — everyone was friendly, patient, and most of them spoke English, which is a plus since it’s a tourist city.
The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Western omelet, which came with a slice of sourdough bread that was incredibly good. My husband went big with eggs, bacon, French toast, and a pancake, and he loved every bite. The bacon deserves its own moment — perfectly cooked, easily some of the best we’ve ever had. (I may have stolen a piece or two ).
Our children ordered pancakes, French toast, and mac n’ cheese. Shockingly, every single one of them loved their food — which rarely happens. The mac n’ cheese was so good they wanted to order another to take with us, but we weren’t heading back to the hotel yet.
The coffees were next-level. I got the tiramisu latte, which I finished way too fast because it was that good, and I was very tempted to order another. My husband got the caramel latte and enjoyed his just as much.
Overall, Michael’s delivered fantastic food, great coffee, and warm service. We’ll definitely be back when we return to Panama.

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with just the right balance of lively and relaxed. The menu had plenty of options from light and healthy choices.

I was greeted my Michael himself. I enjoyed my meal which was the Avo toast. Only ine egg was poached while the other was cooked a lil too long. My friends eggs were on the cold side but it was fixed immediately. The service was great from everyone and the ambiance was amazing for photos
