Lovely old fashioned little place. Good sandwiches, delicious ice cream. Has turn of the century vibes. Lovely atmosphere – one suggestion would be to remove the carpet in the eating area. 🙂 otherwise would definitely recommend this quaint spot.

Took a drive in the convertible with my wife and decided to try Michael’s ice cream in Jackson, Ohio. My wife had the Bubble with sea salt caramel and everything else that came with it. It was amazing. Myself I just loved taking a ride with my wife.Loved the old school feel and looks of the place. Very friendly staff. Met some very nice people whose kids shared their book with us, lovely wholesome family, very nice to have met you. Indoor and outdoor seating. Prices very reasonable , if you have not been here take a ride, enjoy the day. Meet some new people. Live in the moment.

Drove down from Columbus after seeing the reviews from Ohio Road Trips Facebook group. It did not disappoint! The Club sandwich and Chicken salad was fantastic, and the Buckeye Flavored Bubble monstrosity was every bit worth it and more!

So Michael’s Ice Cream shop is a step back in time. It’s a good place to stop on a road trip, just a hop-skip-and-a-jump from Rt 35. Lots of hand dipped flavors from which to choose, after sampling of course. They have cute sidewalk table seating as well as inside options. Very friendly staff. Fair price. Nice sized scoops. And ice cream is very good.

Definitely worth a visit from almost any distance away 🙂 Perry’s ice cream is very good on it’s own but in the Bubble presentation that Michael’s prepares by adding any variety of Sundae toppings, especially their special Marshmallow toppings and roasted peanuts, the entire dessert is elevated to a higher level with a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors, even a bit of salt from the peanuts.

Was in the area for my friend’s yearly birthday campout and found this place. My friend already knew about it, but withheld this amazing place. The bubbles are so good. The peanuts definitely make a huge difference. I had a bubble with peanut butter. It was so good, I went again before heading out of town. The employees were all super friendly and helped me navigate my first experience. The young lady that I was quizzing with my questions did great and she said she was new! I wouldn’t have known. Found some old yearbooks that were interesting to look at while we waited for our bubbles and fries. Michael’s is cute place, history and memories are made here. Will definitely visit again when I come back to the area.

The ice cream is amazing but the food isn’t great. Then again it’s an ice cream parlor so you get what you get. Many many options for flavors, toppings, variants, etc etc. Not friendly if you have any allergies though. If you have a strong peanut allergy I do not advise going inside since they have big barrels of different types of nuts right by the front door. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating. The only parking is on the busy street. The service is polite and fast. You get so much ice cream with even a singular scoop. If you’re in Jackson, I highly recommend stopping here for a cold treat!
