I was excited to try a new place…
I had never been there under the old ownership, so it was I first time for me. I really feel they missed a lot of details that would make this place great. Our waiter was AWESOME – he was on top of everything. The food was good – this is the short north and I think the food needs to be better than good. The drinks were unique and very good. I think the little stuff matters like the menus – wrinkled used dirty cardstock not laminated… really – other than our Rockstar waiter, the staff was not very friendly. It’s not a bad place but there is a lot of competition in that area.

This was our first time but definitely won’t be our last!! Our waiter was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us many suggestions that enhanced our dining experience. I got the lamb with spinach and potatoes and it was phenomenal!!! My daughter got the big boy breakfast platter with pancakes, hash browns, eggs, fruit sausage and bacon!!! WOW!!! The pancakes were her favorite. They were fluffy and delicious!!! Everything was perfect but I can’t say enough about the service. Again, our waiter was truly top notch!!!! Thank you so much!!!

Nu was an incredible server! We were well attended to during our visit. Restaurant week menu exceeded our expectations, especially as first time customers. Chicken tenders, fried pickles, blackened chicken dish, burger, salads, brownies, root beer float-all fire. Even the mussels were savory and delicious and who gets mussels from a diner?! 10/10

My BFF just moved to Columbus and has been wanting to get out and explore the city but not alone. She shared this place with me, and we FINALLY went… From the food pics on IG, everything looked so good. When we got there, it had a retro look to it. Grabbed a menu and sat wherever (inside), but there is a patio too.. Our server was pretty cool. He told us about different events they have, so we’ll definitely have to come back. My friend ordered the Loaded Fries, and I ordered the Seafood Fra Diavolo.. We will definitely come back soon

My daughter had always wanted to try this place when she was young. I believe it was shut down for a bit. Recently brought back to our radar. Stopped in to order takeout. Service was friendly and fast. Ordered two burgers with special requests…main one being no pickles. Everything tasted of pickles because several pickles were placed in the take out containers. The burger flavor itself reminded me of Burger King. Not bad but not worth the cost. The burgers were also very dry and overcooked to the point only the center was edible. My daughter didn’t even eat her burger. We were given one container of ketchup for both orders with no other sauce. Luckily, I had some condiments at our destination. I hope this helps others. We are particular and and this review is to reveal. I hope this business thrives. Please pay attention to your customers. My main thing is that if I am paying this price for a burger and request to not have a specific item, please please please just don’t put that item. I did notice some patrons drinking. Def seems like a cool vibe environment if you are stopping in for a drink and some apps. Staff was definitely welcoming and friendly.

I recommend this place. There take on southern cooked food is very close back home .the chicken was crunchy and moist. The cocktails are perfect. The pineapple bourbon almost made me call an Uber. The Ambiance is perfect. I really had a nice time inside and out. I will be back this week . The chicken and waffles… The waffle was perfect. Big and fluffy. Did I say big and fluffy waffles with powdered sugar and berries. Dang! The chicken might be the second best on high Street. Shrimp and grits are good. Please not in Nola they use wild caught shrimp and use more creme. However it’s good for Ohio. Y’all know I’m from the boot Nola so it’s gotta be right ‘you heard’. The portions are right on time. You won’t leave hungry. Lashan is a great bartender and server. Your cocktail will be on point. Yes … On point.

We were there for a tasting of a specific butter product and it was a complete and total disaster from the moment we showed up. They were so disorganized and unattended to the patrons and what they were doing and what they were needing it was a gimmick to get people in the door and charge them for something that they didn’t even receive and when it was all over we were supposed to get a free entrée and ended up having to pay for it and get reimbursed I don’t know if it was the diner’s fault or if someone rented the space and did it themselves but either way it was an absolutely awful experience all the way around. These pics are from just before the event started my wife and I were very optimistic about what was going to happen and hoped for the best.
