First time here. The Food was good about a 3 star ⭐️. Food reasonable as well. Service about a 3 fits the restaurant. Staff don’t go over and about. You get you food eat then leave nothing extra. Good was fast out the kitchen.

MAN OH MAN!!!
Ok first off it’s a cozy little diner with a calm atmosphere.
Second the waitress Robin is great! I’ve only been here a couple times but she makes me feel like a regular.
Lastly the corned beef hash is amazing OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!! It’s fresh house made NOT out of a can and man oh man is the portion size GENEROUS!
10/10 will come again and again! Highly recommend this place especially if you’re in the area!

Good breakfast spot that opens early at 6am. Veggie omelette and bacon were cooked perfectly. Loved the heavy amount and variety of vegetables in the omelette. It was not pretty nor expertly folded, but tasted great with some salt and pepper. The bacon was cooked perfectly when I told them not to burn it. Came out medium, perfect. I did get Polish sausage and that was dry and chewy, and I would not recommend that. They should source a different brand. No wifi, a bummer. I would have stayed a bit longer to work on my laptop if they had wifi. The waitress, Robyn, was amazing! Ten stars for her! She rocked multiple tables, carryout orders, and was awesome! Solid four stars all day. They accommodated my low carb eating, but it was not cheap at nearly $30 for breakfast eating that way.

I had not been here in years. I had totally forgotten about them. We decided to go there for the steak and eggs. The price was mind-blowing when we glanced at their online menu and did not know what to expect as far as the taste. When we arrived, we were able to get seated immediately. The waitress came over promptly with a winning attitude! The coffee ☕️ was piping hot and flowing throughout our entire meal. Oh and the meal was dynamic! We decided on the steak and eggs breakfast. We really should have shared. The bowl of grits are served in a cereal size bowl and they were creamy and delicious! Our eggs over medium for me, and over easy for my husband came out to perfection we requested medium steak, and that is what we received. It was such a nice and friendly atmosphere. They knew many of their customers by name. I am so glad we remembered this place!

I went into Michael’s Family Restaurant and ordered food to-go, and waited patiently at the bar area. The service staff was kind, generous, and attentive. I ordered the Porkchops & Eggs with an additional side of the Sausage Gravy and Hash browns. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. For typical diner faire, the eats were flavorful and didn’t lack for seasoning. Would definitely return, but the early closing hours make it difficult.

This restaurant was the absolute best. I ordered over the phone and it was ready within 15 minutes. Basically when I arrived, they were waiting with my meal. It was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. And the price was great, especially for the portion served. I was able to have seconds for lunch. 10/10 … I definitely recommend for all visitors. I will most surely return upon my next visit into town.

I enjoyed a short walk from Potawatomi casino less than a mile to this discrete corner for breakfast. Even from outside I could already smell pancakes and coffee as I passed the historic Pabst family mansion. When I entered inside I found myself in a warm classic family diner/cafe atmosphere with patrons laughing and carrying on conversations. The hosted and waitress both seated me and promptly handled my order of a both waffle and biscuits and gravy. Everything came out plated within 10 min. Great experience and thank you.-B

It looks a little dingy when you 1st come in but for the most part it’s a pretty awesome. To me it’s a pretty all right place. The staff was friendly. Great prices.They serve breakfast all day. Bottomless coffee. They have daily specials. They have regular chairs and booths. There were only two cakes in the cake fridge. The oatmeal tastes like water, they do give you brown sugar, butter, raisins for the topping.The steak had no flavor. I don’t like the fact that there’s no extra napkins left on the tables. For two people I spent about 32$.
