Delicious ice cream! This place has a ton of flavors and yes they offer unlimited free samples. I tried almost all of them and each one was awesome. Very unique flavor combinations and some classics. Staff were very friendly. Service was very fast. Their prices are fair especially for the area. Overall this place has amazing ice cream so if you’re craving a delicious treat this is the place to be.

Love the chocolate peanut butter ice cream. We come often since Michael’s gives great portions and the ice cream is so delicious.
My husband waited 20 minutes today since the family of 10 ahead of him tested 4-5 flavors each. Personally, I would have felt uncomfortable testing so many samples knowing one person was standing behind me having to wait so long.

The ice cream was decent, atmosphere was nice, but the man behind the counter came off very rude, as if we were burdening him by giving him business then proceeds to say he’s having a bad day. We all have bad days I get it but I also work in customer service and there’s ways to be professional about it. Nonetheless, what I loved about the place was the amount of different flavors they had to offer.

FANTASTIC. Excellent ice cream in massive portions. Strawberry, Moose Tracks, and Cookie Dough all get an A+. The Chocolate Peanut Butter almost made my friends pass out and gets extra credit.

Monday August 25 enjoyed the banana pudding ice cream, also really wanted to mention the young lady scooping the ice cream had greated everyone with a with a great smile and great attitude, as she was the only one working and it was busy.

With a snazzy, retro façade located just on the edge of a residential district of New London, Michael’s Dairy is a year-round local institution. Although business done at the old-fashioned counter is strictly of the dairy variety, the back of the building serves as the main bookstore for the adjacent Mitchell College.
