After a late day visit to Falling Water Falls we stopped at Michael’s NY Style Pizza and we had some of best food on our WV Water Fall Road Trip. Place was clean, staff was friendly and and food was very good. Later I told my wife I should have tried the NY style pizza. Chef was dressed like an Italian Chef. The sandwich breads were all homemade and delicious. We had the 1-trip too salad bar for $8 which had all my favorites – beets, olives, hardboiled eggs, cherry tomatoes, and much more. Like I said, one of the better meals so far on our journey.

Michael’s, where to begin…..My co-worker and I had worked a long day (not in the mood for dining in). in Hotel, phone ordered perfectly and food was picked up on-time. The host person ( sorry I forgot her name)was awesome and supplied whatever we needed for condiments! Just As refreshing as the staff was the food, very freshly made and just wonderful!!

We enjoyed a nice meal with an appetizer, turnovers & drinks. We will definitely be coming back! I want to try more items on the menu. It was great to sit & enjoy the meal in this building with lots of choices of where to sit.
My only recommendation would be for them to have garlic powder in a shaker bottle just like they have for hot peppers or Parmesan cheese.

Chicken wings were great! Service was great! Some items on the salad bar weren’t what I thought they’d be. Iceberg lettuce was brown. No seasoning in the macaroni salad. Potato’s were crunchy in the potato salad. We also had garlic bread and sauce. The bread was great, but the sauce tasted like tomato paste. Again, no seasoning. The last three to four times that we’ve been here, the food was not great. The hoagies are a lot smaller with hardly any meat or cheese. Very disappointed. I’ll stick with Cuccis!

Spent 60$ between 1 pizza, 2 turnovers and a tip. Waited almost an hour for 3 items before it was delivered. Brought the food inside and the pizza was not only incorrect, but quite a mess. As you can see by the receipt I paid for the whole pizza to have pepperoni and only half pepperoni and sausage. I didn’t get that. It was half pepperoni and half sausage instead. And a lot of the toppings on one side of the pizza as you can see from the picture had slid all over the place (the pepperoni side), as if it was leaning on the way here. The turnovers I ordered were supposed to be large, but two of them fit in a relatively small box. So I paid for large turnovers and got small or regular ones. We typically order from Trani’s at least once a week. Unfortunately they were closed today and two of my kids are not fans of Luca’s, so we opted for Michael’s. I wasted 60$ on an order that took an hour, was not what I wanted and part of it was a mess. Won’t make that mistake again. We will just eat elsewhere on Tuesdays when other places we like are closed.

Traditional family house pizza shop, the way a pizza shop should be. Their sandwiches are a perfectly unique answer to a cross between a hoagie and a wedgie. The appetizers are premium quality, my personal favorite are the breaded mushrooms. I’ve tried many shops across the nation and this place is one of my favorites. Don’t deny yourselves the experience, the service will treat you with great attention and respect then enjoy the great food to enhance the experience, you will become a regular.

I have only ever had take-out. Great food, service and prices. My only complaint is the base of the Sicilian is way too thin, and it does get soggy. If it was the thickness of the corner pieces, it would be perfect.
