It’s National Pizza Day this weekend and we celebrated early tonight. Michaelangelo’s appeared to have the best ratings for a local pizza that we hadn’t yet tried. 5-stars from both of us! We loved the traditional sauce, the flaky thin crust and the amount of toppings – especially the cheese, were plentiful. I ordered an 11-inch Michaelangelo’s Special and he ordered an 11-inch BBQ chicken. We both had leftovers. A couple things to note, the mushrooms are canned (and big. and plentiful. and delicious) and the BBQ sauce is not very bold/tangy (but still a very flavorful mild). Delivery is to Franklin-only at a $3 fee. Pizza arrived at the start of the window they gave us (45 minutes- an hour) and both the employees, the one that took our order over the phone and the delivery driver were professional and courteous. Can’t wait to try again!

I’ve been trying to get to a lot of different pizza places lately instead of getting the same old thing & Michelangelo’s is truly exceptional. Got the supreme because I like all the usual toppings. I tend to prefer fresh mushrooms but the canned mushrooms were still delicious. Definitely will be re-visiting here more often.

Our first experience was not good, but we always try to give it a second try. Glad we did, because we’ve now ordered from them a few times. Each time the food and delivery have been awesome! We supporting small businesses. My only complaint this last time we ordered is the steak sandwich had nothing on it, even though I asked for certain items on it. It still was yummy! I have problems with my esophagus, so I need ketchup, etc, on my sandwiches. We’ll be ordering again soon!

Received a coupon for a free pizza and had never been here so we thought we’d check it out. We sat in the bar. Pizza was delicious! Delicious cracker like crust, tasty sauce and tons of fresh toppings. Bartender Nicole was attentive and friendly. Other patrons were warm and welcoming. Added bonus pulltabs were hot!

Pizza arrived via grub Hub. Pizza was slid all to one side. Called Michaelangelo’s right away and talked to fred(owner) and was told that it was not his fault because it was ordered thru Grub Hub. I could understand this attitude from a disgruntled employee, but the Owner? I was told he was not going to remake and also when asked for a remake, and a no answer was given, he said that I would understand if I paid the bills. $29.00 for a small pizza delivered and it all went into the garbage. An amazing way to do business it these tough times. Some places need the business and some don’t. My last order from Michaelangelo’s.

This was my first time there, and I guarantee I’ll be back. FINALLY… A delicious pizza with CRISPY crust!! It actually crunched when I bit into it. Very happy. Nice little place to eat fantastic pizza. The owner who also was our waiter, was a very nice man who advised me to to come back when the bar was open. I will!

The pizza is very good! You wait quite long to get your order but, it is very worth the wait! I order the gluten-free w/o cheese, with sausage green peppers & pineapple. My husband orders traditional pizza with sausage, mushrooms and onions. We really enjoy it and tend to overeat.

We accidentally ordered pizza from here. Honest, a wrong number was called, we went to pick it up, no pizza there. It was about 20 miles away at Michaelangelo’s, not Michael and Angelo’s in Racine! The pizza was good. My only wish is fresh mushrooms.

I loved this place so much. I have such great memories here. It was close to home, so my friends and family would walk down the road almost weekly to go here for the DELICIOUS pizza and succulent wings!! The WING SAUCE WAS LEGENDARY The pizza was always PERFECT! The jalapeños were ALWAYS FRESH, and the pinapples were subtly sweet with it. The sauce was absolutely perfect. Not too sweet and not too heavy or thin. The crust was always baked to perfectionand had such delicious flavor. Never soggy or too crispy. And the cheese was always plentiful and stayed on the slice!!! Im so so sad that this place has closed. Were not sure what other pizza joint could replace good ol Michaelangelos rip friend.

Pizza was fantastic! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!! Service definitely needs work, first was brought appetizers that we didn’t order, then we were brought our pizza, THEN we were asked if we like plates, napkins, etc…. I should have asked the waitress if anyone ever says no to that question, I would guess not! Waitress came back to table once inquiring about refills on our beverages, never returned after that, had to go up to counter to ask for take home box for leftovers, you would have thought that may have sparked an idea to our waitress that we were done and bring us the bill but not so much, sat there for another 10 minutes then finally went up to the counter to ask for our bill. Service needs work!
