Excellent, New York style pizza!
This was our second trip to Emerald Isle and we decided to stay close to the condo for dinner and stopped in Michaelangelo’s. They had pizza by the slice that the kids loved, one wanted cheese and both pepperoni. The wife and I wanted pepperoni and sausage. The 14” was way more than enough for us to the point that we took it back to the condo and had it for lunch the following day! They were pretty busy but they were all moving.
The pizza was absolutely amazing! After experiencing a good bit of NY pizza in NYC and later in Charlotte NC, this one is just as awesome!
I’d like the NY style pizza don’t miss out on this!

So friendly! Very clean! I always like when you can see your food being prepared & know it’s handled safely.
The calzones are easily 2 meals or can be shared. The crust is light & crispy & the ricotta-to-mozzarella ratio perfect. They have a delicious lemoncello mascarpone cake that is a nice balance of sweet & tangy.

Open in the off season. We enjoyed a large pizza carry out both freshly made for dinner and cold for breakfast. Proper NY style slice.

Came in at 7:45 ordered two slices of pepperoni sausage extra cheese when I got the slices. There was hardly any extra cheese on the slices and they ran out of tea at 8 o’clock sweet tea. I asked them for more and they said they weren’t gonna make any more. They closed at 9.

With that being said if you’re going for an idea of authentic Italian head to Italy because Olive Garden isn’t either.
Slices are the way to go, good variety and the more toppings the more flop, so we got 4 slices well done and they were !
For out of towners or overseas; this is not Chicago style, Detroit Style or you local chain.
It’s NY Style and it truly was, thin, large slices that in New York fashion you can fold in half and eat.
We snagged 2 supremes a cheese and a sausage/pepp was just under 20.00.
Want to feed the family on a budget after you paid 400
plus a night, this will do the trick!

We used to love eating here, but the quality of the food has declined, and the customer service is subpar. The pizza is too oily and greasy; the salads are a joke and overpriced, with more lettuce than anything else. Bojangles has better, more flavourful, and cheaper salads. Roma pizza and subs are a better choice! By the way, our table was very dirty, and no one seemed to care to clean it up while we were there. We tried finding a table that wasn’t nasty, but there was no such luck here. We will never return to this place when vacationing at Emerald Isle.

Walked into the establishment and saw a gentleman tossing a pizza, and thats when I knew it was going to be good. Of course our intent was to order a pizza and a sub, but that wasn’t all I decided to get. The lasagna was just amazing, loved the sauce and the portion was perfect. The ham sub was very good as well. Decided on a small meatlovers pizza and absolutely wanted more after just one bite. All in all a terrific establishment, great atmosphere, and wonderful food. 10/10 would most definitely be going again!

Their sanitation rating is 91.5 and it shows. There was an unknown liquid substance at the bottom of the bucket they keep their straws in. They couldn’t locate more straws. Dr Pepper was kicked. The employees are yelling for what they need. Trash all over the floor and the tables weren’t wiped down.
The pizza was less than mid. I’m glad they use real mushrooms but the pizza was burnt and so hard to eat. The crust was not eatable.
The fries were actually good. The kid at the counter taking orders was kind.

Great service everything looks amazing ! Will return everything was amazing!!! The pizza, garlic knots, Stromboli, spaghetti with meatballs added is soooooo good! Thank you, thank you again. Staff was very polite. Great customer service.

The food was good and the service was pleasant. I had lasagna and my husband had spaghetti with meatballs. We both enjoyed our dinner and the portion was good size. I thought the prices were very reasonable and the ambience was cozy. I would definitely go back in I would recommend Michelangelo’s pizza.
