This is a real pub, no nonsense, Greta place, welcoming to all (and means ALL). This is a great New Hope pub. No pretense, classic local secret.

A very nice little pub! Looks very rustic and cozy. The Guinness tasted fresh, and the cheese sauce that came with the fries was AMAZING! Freddie made us feel very welcome and we will definitely come again for a few pints, the cheese sauce and his company!

Dropped in unexpectedly and had an amazing time with my friends. The atmosphere made us feel like we were among long-time friends and family. The drinks were both reasonably priced and delicious—especially the Snickers shot, which I absolutely loved!

I want to begin by expressing my understanding and patience toward establishments facing staffing challenges. I empathize with the difficulties small businesses encounter, especially when operating under such constraints.
That however, does not apply to this absolute dumpster fire of a dingy basement under the guise of an “Irish Pub”.
The moment we walked in I felt immediately uncomfortable and should have walked out. I found a table and my wife went to use the restroom, only to get bullied and harassed as to why shes there by the bartender. He then comes up to me and very rudely asks “Are you gunna order??”…ok…so I then made the mistake of ordering cheese fries that came out cold, and two drinks that never came.
This place was embarrassingly bad and should not be open. It gives Irish Pubs a bad name, and so did that disrespectful brutish bartender.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Joe the owner or Mgr needs to hire a new cook and server to survive. Sorry… fries and burgers were cold and not cooked as ordered. Asked for well done and got rare burger that order was for another table. Fries were old and cold and burger bun was cold as well. He changed it but it was still not cooked as ordered. The Guinness wings were over fried and sauce on side not as expected…at all. Small place and needs to be cleaned up. Table was dusty and so was surrounding area. Sorry Joe, I know you said hard to get good help…but there’s gotta be someone that wants to work.good luck.

We arrived on Saturday afternoon after the snow storm. Not much much was open in town early in the day, but we came in for a bite to eat and a drink. We were the only people and met with the wonderful and kind house musician frank, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He made us a drink , and made a delicious fish and chips while taking instructions from the owner over the phone. This is a warm and down to earth place which is becoming hard to find in the ever pretentious new hope. Thank you frank!
