I’m truly speechless but here we go… I am a big back & have eaten in multiple countries, cities, Michelin star restaurants… you get the picture.
I was infatuated with my entire experience from the moment I walked in until I left.
The food… unbelievable. Staff… amazing. Did I mention the food?
We were a wee bit late with arriving & didn’t have reservations but we got a table (no idea how we got so lucky)
I love the weekly flower arrangements. Small detail to really show the standard they hold here.
We got the fondue garlic bread & we will be thinking about until for the rest of our lives. (Pairs very well with the non organic red Cab Sav) 100/10- I could write a 5 page essay on how good this was. Honestly you guys could take the house bread off the menu & still thrive with just these GB.
Julie our waiter, was phenomenal. She was always smiling & had great recommendations. Took care of our bill when our shrimp sadly arrived after dinner & ended up looking like our dessert lol. Hope we get her again!
The filet and NY strip that we ordered were cooked to our exact liking. The charred garlic butter was literally heavenly. I need the recipe.
All of the food tasted like it was made with love.
I would’ve liked my asparagus to be a bit more cooked but that is just a personal preference.
Not sure what the deal is with the casino being against a coat rack, hooks, or stands, but putting my $300 jacket on the back of my chair was crazy. Please consider a small stand or something if a customer asks for it maybe?
Mac & Cheese was insanely good as well. I believe it was Gouda & I loved the shells they used.
Not sure why there are so many negative reviews but they mostly seem like they just didn’t get their way rather than talking about the quality of the food.

Another phenomenal dinner! We go here at least once a year for many years and it hasn’t changed over the years in terms of consistency and quality of the food. It is always a great experience because the staff is friendly, efficient and very attentive. Never have to ask for refills, they are on top of it before you even get close to empty. The food itself it is amazing. Always cooked perfectly, always high quality and portions are generous. There is nothing negative about this restaurant and that is why it is our favorite. Highly recommend!!

FOOD – delicious but small portions to price; even if it’s a steakhouse owned by Michael Jordan, OVERPRICED!!!! Had better expectations and higher quality standards for MJ Steakhouse. I’ve attached photos of everything that only I ordered and it was not worth the money.. I was surprised to learn that the steaks did not come with any bread, salad/soup or a side; you had to purchase separately.
**Wagyu Beef Dumplings, Double Smoked Bacon (disgusting – tasted like can ashtray), Garlic Bread with Fondue Sauce, American Wagyu Strip 12oz (no flavor!), American Top Wagyu Sirloin 10oz ( no flavor, was a hockey puck and didn’t eat it)**
SERVICE – terribly S..…L…..O…..W…. We were there for 2.5 – 3 hours and most of it was waiting. Waiting to get waters, waiting to get drink order taken, waiting on food delivery, just waiting. After waiting 30 mins, we put our whole order in at once, because we never knew if we would see our waiter again. Unattentative servers. It’s MJ Steakhouse at the casino – shouldn’t you be better prepared?? We had reservations too. You knew we were coming. I had to ask the busboy for our second round of drinks, because I didn’t see the waiter for a long time. We were very uncomfortable at our table. We spent almost $700 on food and drinks; they surprised my child with a chunk of brownie instead of a slice of cake like I had asked for. That was disappointing and insulting to us. NO BREAD, NO CHAMPAGNE, NO CAKE.
Atmosphere – very very dim lighting (bedtime lighting) and very noisy. We were seated towards the front near the server station and hostess table. A lot of foot traffic. I had to scream at my waiter and the rest of my guests. That’s how loud and there wasn’t even any music playing. The actual seat is very hard (I have back issues), there’s not enough elbow room, tight spacing between tables, and we were all just very uncomfortable. Our neighbors got into a conversation with us, since we were so close. They overheard and were able to relate
Would I go back? Never.

My fiancé and I spent New Year’s Eve here and were very impressed. The service despite it being busy was excellent, and we enjoyed our food. The rolls and butter that came before the meal were out of this world. To start we ordered the tuna tartare, it was super fresh and delicious. I ordered the special for my main, which was the surf and turf, which I also enjoyed a lot. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we’d definitely be back.

Had a great meal here. The bone-in ribeye with the blue cheese crust was rich and perfectly cooked, and pairing it with a Belgian beer was a great call. Finished things off with an espresso martini topped with the Jumpman logo, which was a fun touch and surprisingly smooth. Definitely a memorable dinner all around.

Michael restaurant manager came over to us many times to make sure we were taken care of.

You can stop looking. This is the best steak you will have. Allow me to repeat myself: Best. Dinner. Ever. We’re talking Chicago here. You have to go to the restaurant side to get the dry aged rib eye, but you can get the filet on the bar side and it is also superior.
If you skip the lobster mashed potatoes, you never live a complete life.
There is nothing on the menu that is not top shelf. My rib eye, while a bit fatty, is the most delicious ever. Nothing bad. Nothing even close to unappealing. Service is top notch. Second to none. Shout out to Janine – thank you. We save all year to make the trip to Mohegan and happy we finally had dinner on the restaurant side w the kids. What a difference from the sports bar side. If you can – treat yourself. You may have had the rest. Now have the best. Lookin forward to coming back next year !!

The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. On top of that, the ambience was just right—classy but comfortable, making it a great spot for a special night out.

We had dinner here last week. First we were greeted very warmly by the hostesses and wished a happy anniversary. Our server Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was amazing. Now to the food. We both had shrimp cocktail, American Strip Steaks with sautéed scallops. We shared Japanese corn. This was the best steak I ever ate. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. That steak would be my death row request if I was on death row. Truly a perfect experience and we will visit again. We also had a slice of key lime pie which was divine.
