I recently had the opportunity to visit Michael Anthony’s on a fall football sunday and so should you. You might want arrive early to secure a seat near the bar and football games or they will be gone.
I enjoyed a Michelena with Modelo to start the gameday sunday and ordered the combination platter, both are pictured.

I moved on to the tavern style thin crust pepperoni and onion pizza.

The gameday atmosphere is festive if your a Bears fan, see attached video, which occurs after every touchdown.

I have visited Micheal Anthony’s since it opened in 1984, things have not changed, which is a great thing.

The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful.

Looks of the pizza was appealing, i use to order it when i lived in cicero/berwyn. I want to express that the pizza is not the same, flavor was mediocre to say the most. The crust tasted bland and premade never tasted that way, very little amount of sauce, and the cheese was spread very thin and didnt make the edge. This place was reasonably priced beating the 29 dollar pizza down the street at 23 bucks 1 topping, but the flavor overall disappointed tasting like i ate a 8 dollar pizza.

I’m in town for buisness and drove by this place and just had to stop in. The lady at the bar, Gina is so great and attentive. I’m on my 3rd drink now and I am having a blast. The drinks are very reasonably priced and the music is gives the place such a nice taste. I highly recommend this place and hopefully you’re lucky to have Gina as your bartender.

Kept driving past Michael Anthony’s restaurant on Ogden Avenue in Berwyn – so we checked out their menu & photos online and it seemed like a cute place. We were a party of five adults early on a Thursday nite and not a big crowd at all. We were served in the dining room, although they have a lively bar area and a “beer garden” out back. The interior is rather dimly lit, but it’s comfortable with some interesting (but dated) photos and decor, like something out of your Aunt’s 1970’s basement.
The menu is varied, including sandwiches whole dinners and pizza… we ordered soft drinks and two large pizzas and they came very quickly and to perfection! Thin cracker-style crust with yummy cheese & pepperoni and a cheese & sausage. All five of us were very happy with our meal – literally some of the best thin crust pizza we’ve had. Would describe it as a true homestyle pizza. The two large-sized pies provided enough leftovers for a small lunch or two. The soft drinks were larger sized and we could have gotten refills. Server was attentive.
All in all a nice place for a casual meal. We will be going back to try some other menu items as well.

I’ve ordered many different things from here and the food is always good. Whether delivery or in person, the customer service is very good. My favorite is their chicken noodle soup. But, they only serve it on Saturdays.

It was my first time visiting, suggested by my spouse who discovered it on a list of top pizza spots. The atmosphere was laid-back, the service was great, and the food arrived quickly. We enjoyed a couple of drinks, and overall, the experience did not break the bank.

I’m calling at 1:35 and leave the phone ring I guess they got annoyed because they picked up the phone and hung up right away I guess they don’t want to do orders after 1:30 when I live across the street and I can always pick it up shouldn’t be posting that they close at 2:00 a.m. if they don’t even want to answer after 1:30
