A Newark institution moved to the burbs. Michael Angelo brought his outstanding cuisine to this location many years ago but still identifies with its origins in Newark’s Little Italy. My recent visit confirms that they haven’t lost any of their former appeal. The food and service are top-notch. When you go, bring an appetite. The portions are very generous, and every bite is a delight.

I ordered an Old Fashioned Pizza tonight. It was truly inedible and I was shocked! I’ve been enjoying that pizza for the last 10 years and all of a sudden it fell flat on it’s face. I did order delivery & that may have something to do with it, but not enough. I know pizza, its my only food group. I do Star Tavern, Reservoir Tavern, Patty’s & every other top 10 in the area….

Absolutely delicious! The home made macaroni is really really worth the trip here. Staff was friendly & attentive. Sam & Vic treated us well. The owner & head chef took time to come by and say hi. BYOB and NO corkage fee can’t be beat. Highly recommended for a great meal.
