Hands down the finest food I had in Japan during the 20 years I lived there. Warm service and perfect creative cuisine.

I was invited by a regular customer to visit for the first time, but, hmm, I couldn’t see anything good about it.
To be honest, there wasn’t a single thing that was tasty.
I tried to pretend not to like it since everyone around me was raving about it, but it was tough and I just wanted to go home.
I can’t help but think that they’re proud of their strange status as a regular at a restaurant that’s hard to get into, and are grateful for the name, not the taste.

I feel that this is a truly wonderful restaurant where you can learn a lot through the food.
Rather than simply enjoying a meal, it might be more appropriate to describe it as a “place of learning.”
It’s like a cooking school, where you can learn polite manners, hone your intellect and character through cooking, and deepen your culture.
