Visiting for our nephew’s naval academy graduation and found this local Chicago breakfast gem. Mia is very welcoming with awesome customer service. The waffles were super yummy and hit the spot along with the eggs. We were served promptly and with a smile. If you’re a pancake lover like me unfortunately they were just average and missed the mark but definitely open to trying the crepes next time. Also keep your coat close by… the big chill is on in here. Brrrr Cheers to our next adventure

Came to this place for some pancakes because my husband loves pancakes. He was disappointed with the overall taste of his food. He got the eggs, bacon and side of pancakes, however, the pancakes were not even size and he said the flavor was just ok. His bacon came out overly done but the eggs were fine. I ordered the chorizo and it was ok, I had to ask for the eggs to be scrambled together with the chorizo, which is different from what I’m used to. My son and daughter loved their food, they got the French toast and cornbeef.
The owner Mia was wonderful, she came and talked to us and is extremely friendly. We loved the atmosphere and the overall service.

What a wonderful overall experience! Food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the breakfast burrito and chorizo skillet. Awesome! Mia’s warm and attentive nature was so very much appreciated!! The overall atmosphere was uplifting (sailors on liberty was so nice to see). A must experience for yourself!!

Absolutely the worst breakfast I’ve ever had in my life. I came here because it had 4.6 stars but these two waitresses have no business waiting tables. One of them just sat there with the other one trying to run food my coffee got cold The Cook had no sense of urgency. I waited close to an hour for a skirt steak with a quarter order of hashbrowns that were super greasy. The skirt tasted like it was microwaved with no taste. Absolutely horrible if I can give it zero stars, I would. never coming back.

Unfortunately The food portions were completely smaller than the last time Was a little disappointing for $4 for eggs and $4 for hashbrowns and $5 for three slices of bacon. This morning, my motorcycle club needed a place to meet for breakfast before heading out on a group ride. Mia‘s pancake house was perfect. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. And the bathrooms were spectacularly clean. We will definitely be rendezvousing there again in the near future.
