The venue is ridiculously fun, and we had a blast watching other patrons go wild over the baseball game on TV. The music, TV commentary, and chatter around us are all super loud, so we’re yelling at each other, which I think is actually good for us, giving us a crazy energy boost. The only downside is that the food is not particularly impressive. I am uncertain as to what the issue may be, but it falls short of greatness. I would say it was merely adequate. Additionally, the pineapple juice is overly sweet. Our waitress is super nice and accommodating. Thank you.

If I only had $20 left to my name I would use it to buy the beef stew and the passion fruit juice. I really liked the atmosphere, many people knew eachother so it just made the place feel cozy! But really, get the beef stew and thank me later, and thank the owners for very reasonable prices

Absolutely loved my experience at Miami! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. I especially recommend the Mofongo — it’s a must-try. The ambiance was cozy and perfect for a night out. Can’t wait to come back!

I visited Boston to see my friends in Jamaica Plain. They had never been to this restaurant so we tried it together. We were all astounded by the flavors! I managed to fit in two trips to the restaurant during my stay in Boston! The ambiance was amazing with great music and a community/family feel between some local patrons and the restaurant staff. The first time we went we shared an order of the carne guisada and the mofongo de pollo. That was my first time having mofongo and it was enjoyable but the carne guisada was something sent from heaven. During our second visit, we liked it so much that we had separate orders of the carne guisada, it’s just that good! The passion fruit juice was also fire, the flavor was so pungent and delicious. The staff were amazing and kind, I wish I had known how to speak Spanish.

I DID A DOORDASH ORDER TONIGHT AND GOT CHIVO, CHICHARRONES DE CERDO AND ARROZ Y HABICHUELAS. THE CHIVO WAS TENDER, SAUCY AND SEASONED GOOD. CUT THE MEAT OFF THE BONES BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH THOUGH.. IT GOES WELL WITH THE YUCA… THE CHICHARRONES WERE A LITTLE SMALLER THAN I EXPECTED, BUT I STILL LIKED THEM… ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS TO EAT… I WOULD ORDER AGAIN

My Dominican friend took me to try and was really really good I ate and took a plate for work later on. I had the Mofongo didn’t look that big but damn I couldn’t walk after I was done so much plantains so much I would get with fried chicken or shrimp tho. Nice atmosphere good Spanish music playing in the background workers was nice listening to my weak Spanish and recommend dishes and the juice I had was really good to I didn’t take picture.

I ordered their food on door dash and their mangu was so nasty straight mush, only 1 egg 1 slice of salami and 1 slice of the fried cheese. The Yaroa was also gross and look like they reheated it from the night before, the chicken was dry and had the reheat consistency and the fries were gross . They are nothing how they used to be but then again I don’t order mangu from here and will never again

Food: Horrible flavor and plates came warm.
Service: The waitress had a nasty attitude and it felt as though she was bothered to be at work. I ordered appetizers and asked for small plates and she rolled her eyes and said sure. She came back with one plate and said “Is one okay?” I looked around and their was only 4 more people in the restaurant.
Atmosphere: Was okay. Could have background music on.
