Nourishing Mutton Chop is like a secret menu – sharing portion, very delicious, not to be missed! It’s made of super tender lamb chops with bones and a little of skins, smokey tofu, vegetables, chewy clear noodles, goji berries and dried dates with the store’s famous lamb soup base. Perfect choice for a chilly winter day.

We have been to this place many times over the last few years but this is still my first review for it. They specialize in cuisine from northwestern region of China with lots of flour based dishes so if you are looking for low carb food this isn’t the place for you. Our favorite is the Big Platter Chicken, which is shown below. We’ve always ordered this dish whenever we dine here. The portion is huge so don’t expect that you will be able to finish it. Just enjoy what you can and pack the rest to go.

I really don’t recommend this restaurant. I ordered sesame paste cold rice noodle and cold rice noodle, which are actually very classical in Xi’an. But these two Appetizers are so disgusting, looks like they stored in fridge for a long time and just put in a paper box randomly. My husband is not a picky person, he even throw up after taste one bite…Besides the service is very bad, especially that girl. Seems she doesn’t even want to do the business but just get money. Wondering how do they survive in such a competitive market….they should close, earlier the better!

Just go eat there and stop debating. Have the lamb soup if you love lamb and need a soul warming meal. Just go and have some food. It’s an unassuming diner. Easy ordering with pictures on the menu. It’s good if you’re just looking for a quick bite or some place to feed the family. Prices are reasonable. Service is great. But the food, oh my, the food. I would 100% have lamb again. I couldn’t finish the food. It was too much so I took a container home and they gave me even more soup. I feel like a glutton. I feel fulfilled. The stewed egg was tasty and provided a nice contrast to the soup.

First time going here and the atmosphere was really nice, cozy, and peaceful. We had the youtiao with soy milk as well as the pork buns for breakfast. Buns were really juicy and flavorful, youtiao were my favorite – CRISPY DELICIOUS and when dipped in soy milk – chef’s kiss. The owner also offered sugar for the kids’ soymilk which was very thoughtful. Will come back again to try their lunch/dinner dishes!

We sat outside of the restaurant. They are not open for dine-in inside yet. Really fast and good service. The biang biang noodles are excellent, they are the most chewy noodles I’ve had among all the noodle places I’ve been to in Seattle area. 羊肉泡馍 bread soaked in beef/lamb soup is not authentic.

Looking for home made Xian noodles and dishes on the east side? Miah’s kitchen is the place to visit. My family loves the stewed pork biang biang noodle, lamb noodle soup, pork sandwich, and big chicken platter. Fun fact – “biang biang” noodles get their name from the sound the noodles make when hitting the counter, “biang biang”
