We sat in the booth near the door which was perfect for our anniversary. The grilled octopus was amazing. The generous portion of Minestrone was so flavorful, full of varied vegetables and melted cheese on the bottom, rarely found in San Diego. The pasta scrumptious. Tiramisu- again a generous portion served in a charming chilled bowl was so light and creamy and rich. Enough for 2 or 4 people. The cappuccino froth so creamy. Delightful. I highly recommend this quaint restaurant tucked away in the quiet neighborhood of Bankers Hill.

We came here for the first time. It’s a slightly small restaurant with less than ten tables. There’s a full bar area. It’s quaint and welcoming. We made a reservation (highly recommended) thus we got seated right away. The waitress was friendly.

We ordered prosciutto di parma e burrata to start. We each ordered a pasta dish. I ordered linguini with seafood. The portion was big but not a lot of flavor. I think it would taste better if white wine sauce has stronger flavor. I liked Gnocchi Sorrentina. salmone in padella had good flavor. I really liked tiramisu which is a huge reason for me to go back.

6 pm on Monday we were the only customers. Fantastic! Fettuccine Mia and Salmon were fantastic. The pre meal bread was unbelievable. Don’t fill up on it!

Another excellent meal at Mia’s! Pasta cooked perfectly. Focaccia style bread brought to table w oil & vinegar is fresh and delicious. My dish had capers, olives, garlic and red sauce and it was so flavorful paired great with a glass of montepulciano. Friends had cacio e pepe and the sea bass, both excellent.

We absolutely love this neighborhood spot – so much so that we hosted a large family dinner here to kick off our wedding weekend. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, the food was delicious (as always) and the overall experience was 10/10. I’d recommend Mia for anything from a date night to larger group gathering, they can do it all.

I was looking for a place to host a large family dinner, and Mia’s was the perfect spot! Having already enjoyed several date nights there, I worked with Sergio to book a 17-person reservation in their indoor space. His kindness and flexibility made the process effortless, and on the day-of, the food, service, and ambiance were second to none. Mia’s is a true family-owned gem that we’re lucky to have in the neighborhood, and I wholeheartedly recommend a visit. Be sure to try their piccantina di pollo!

Nice, intimate setting. Food was delicious. Wife says the Pinot Noir wines on hand were really good. The sauce for the fettuccine was the best tasting one I have had so far in my opinion. Service was excellent, and speedy.

@ Bankers Hill in San Diego. Italian with indoor/ outdoor seating. Some aspects of the interior are rather nice with the seating up against the wall, the large mirror and a nice bar area. There is some nice relaxing music in the background that is not too loud. Some areas could be improved upon such as having nicer table cloths, they have folding chairs as seats outside, and some of the plates the bread is served on is rather beat up. However they ask a steep price for this. On the bright side everything I tried was fairly delicious. The mushroom ravioli was soft and melted in your mouth. I rate it 9/10. The fettuccine Mia comes with mushrooms and diced chicken. The pasta is served el dente which I liked. Rate this 8/10. Had a side of asparagus, $9. Good wine selection, beer and deserts limited. NO PIZZA.

Small, authentic Italian place. The food was delicious, came out pretty fast too. The aesthetic is simple yet beautiful with candles at each table and low lighting. Parking wasn’t too bad either
