Mia Soto’s in Hallsville never disappoints! The service is always friendly and fast, and the food is fantastic every time. Portions are generous, everything tastes really good, and the staff really makes you feel welcome!

My first time to eat here tonight. I was impressed! I got the chorizo tacos and my husband got a beef torta. Both amazing! I’m glad a restaurant like this is in Hallsville. And I will be going back more often to support locally.

Recently moved to Hallsville and my sister and I decided to try Mia’s tonight. It definitely lived up to the hype! Waiter was super nice and fast. The hot sauce was fantastic and I really enjoyed my sour cream chicken enchiladas. I moved from Gilmer and the Mexican food there was terrible! So glad to finally live somewhere with good Mexican food! I will definitely be back!

The salsa is literally water no chunks. Queso is mostly water. Portion sizes are good. Food is overpriced for quality. 3.99$ charge for using card. Probably running a tax scam or something. Would not recommend till they remove the charge.

We got the fajitas. Chicken/beef combo meal for 2. It came with rice, beans, and tortillas. I got refried, and honey punkin got charro. Everything was tasty. The meat was moist and very tender. A single fajitas combo meal is $17, and a double is $34. My only little gripe is I believe if you buy a for 2 meal it should be a slight discount. Next time, I’m going to order two singles to see if there is less or more meat combined.
Tip: At the time we went, they had an EAT-IN special for $30

REALLY regret going here. A big reason for that is because of the “owner”. He was extremely rude. Acts like he can do and say whatever he wants. His customers are below him. We were just crouched outside, my side and I, as I can’t stand for too long. Take a hit of a vape (quitting is quite hard..), have some time for our food to cool down from the microwave. “You can’t crouch there. Don’t do it again..”. Walked inside before we could even apologize. I don’t think he thought we were customers, if he did.. good way to lose them. I understand his intent but I thought it was the vaping. We couldn’t crouch down for a minute? That seems excessive. He could have actually talked to us.. and kindly asked us to not crouch down.. in from of the “restaurant”.. But he just walked inside, through the other down down from where we were. Food had no flavor. My fajitas “the meat and onion, mostly onion, that I make myself, was so hot that the oil was popping in my face and chest area. For 4 of us.. Over $80. Not worth what we got.. Do yourself a favor. Go to the Dairy Queen down the road. They’re so kind, and actually have good food. 1 thing. Props to our waiter. He made sure we had everything we needed. Kind. He should be the owner, honestly.
Good job owner . Learn to show a little kindness to the people you overcharge.

Update: So I went for lunch today and they gave me complementary tamales, one chicken and one beef, these tamales are so far the BEST tamales I ever had! Simply delicious!
The restaurant is nice and clean, the staff was super nice and friendly. I got the beef enchilada with chili sauce on top, rice and refried beans; everything was really tasty I just wish that the enchilada was a little bigger it was small but other than that it was great.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time recently. The young man that waited on us was very nice and attentive, but that’s the best I can say about this resteraunt. I ordered the tamales covered with chili and cheese, and my wife ordered enchiladas. Her enchiladas were tasteless and dry. She could eat only half of her food. My tamales were extremely dry, the massa coating was thick and dry with almost no beef stuffing, and were covered in a sour tasting tomato sauce not the chili and cheese I ordered. Additionally, the prices were way too high for the poor quality food. We won’t go back.
