We came here for a dinner date.. restaurant was a lot smaller than I expected but the service was great, the food was amazing. I believe our server was Nate? He did fantastic, as we came close to closing time..
Contrary to what I’ve read on here, the garlic rolls were fresh, soft, and doughy, swimming in butter.. truly amazing (for anyone who absolutely loves bread and butter.)
We ordered the mozzarella sticks, and I wouldn’t mind to pay as much as we did for those again. They were probably the best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had. The presentation was cute, but I’d remove the lettuce, maybe put it on a smaller plate. It’s a little unnecessary..
I built my own pasta with spaghetti noodles, a vodka sauce, and 2 meatballs. The smell as he set the plate down, was heavenly. The portion size was HUGE. My pasta dish was a 10/10.
THE PIZZA? Oh my god. My boyfriend got the Bianca, with added pepperoni. I could’ve eaten it for breakfast the next morning, I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone. The total came out to $56.98 (before tip). We took home over half a pizza, over half a dish of pasta, and 2 mozzarella sticks. To me, it’s totally worth it if I get to have leftovers for a few days.

My friend and I were in town for a conference and Googled restaurants near me now. We perused the menu and decided to give it a try. The gluten free pasta was a deciding factor. The place is just charming. We were greated immediately and had no wait for a table. Michelle was our server and could not have been nicer. She assisted me in finding exactly the right dish for my dietary restrictions. It was delicious and the portion so large that I only ate half and will be having the other half tomorrow night after a long day traveling back home. The gluten free pasta was cooked perfectly and my friend said she couldn’t tell the difference. My friend got the stuffed shells and was very happy with them as well. We enjoyed it all so much that we asked to speak to the manager. Her name is Maria and she and her dad own the place. Everything from pasta to pizza dough is made on site. All of the sauces are made at the time of the order. I cannot recommend it highly enough. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular!

The people were wonderful. Absolutely nice staff, but the food, it wasn’t worth the money. First, the garlic knots were hard and chewy. The chicken dish (Chicken Marsala) I got had the most paper thin slice of chicken I’ve ever seen. The mushrooms were the same. Sliced so incredibly thin, I couldn’t even taste them. The long pasta had been broken in half, maybe even fourths. I assume to cook it in the pot that way, so I couldn’t roll it on my fork to eat it properly. I kept getting these tiny broken portions of pasta on my fork that kept falling off the fork. The food experience was bad. The service was fantastic. Sorry. I wanted to love this place, but the food needs to be worth $20 for the entree and it wasn’t.

Definitely a locals hangout, which is badly needed in world dominated by major chains. Excellent service and the food didn’t disappoint either. Fair number of seating available at the bar if preferred. The two guys playing live music (Fridays and Saturdays) were fun and brought back the good ol’ 70s classics. Looking forward to dropping back in sometime soon!

We went here for Valentine’s Day, opting for this smaller cozy restaurant over our usual Italian spot at the last minute, just to try something different. I’m not upset we went but I’m on the fence about returning. If I do it will probably be to try the pizza as that may be their specialty.

We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer but they were just okay. They tasted like they were frozen and reheated and came on a confusing plate that was too large and had lettuce for some reason. We ate them all, but I believe they were $9 which is a bit high for frozen food.

We also got a Caesar salad because it wasn’t included with the entree. At $10 (we ordered the regular size and split it) it seemed a bit expensive. But it was good and we ate all of it.

I got the chicken parmigiana which was okay. I felt like the chicken might have been frozen but otherwise it was the highlight of the night.

My date got the special, pan seared scallops on a bed of pasta cooked in white wine sauce. She did not enjoy it (which come to think of it is why the salad and mozzarella sticks all got eaten). The scallops were over seasoned and after trying 2 she left the rest. We took the pasta as leftovers but it wound up carrying too much of the over seasoned scallop taste.

They had live music. I don’t like live music but it wasn’t too distracting, a single guitar player/singer who was pretty good doing different takes on popular songs. The service wasn’t spectacular but it wasn’t terrible.

Ultimately this is a nice locally owned (I assume) restaurant that I would love to support but unfortunately the food just wasn’t that good, especially for the price. Our total meal cost $64 after a $4 discount for the scallops (the server noticed they weren’t eaten and offered it which was nice) with us getting no alcohol, just 2 teas.

A lot of people were getting pizza which we may try, but for an Italian meal we will stick with our usual spot.

They are our go to neighborhood Italian. We usually Do take out but I Don’t know the management has changed or menu/Recipe have changed? It was the worst meal in a long time. Marinara sauce and were zero tastes. I had to adjusted adding some spices to be able to eat,(I hate wasting food) We used like their Risotto but they Don’t make any more. We were just disappointed.

We went on a Friday night about 5:30. No wait for a table for 5. The food is different from most Italian restaurants but only slightly. We all agreed it is good. The lasagna was different but good. I enjoyed it and brought half home. The garlic knots were quite tough and I didn’t like them. Prices were reasonable. Big complaint was the live music. Not only too loud but off key and painful to listen to. The service was good and unobtrusive.

We ordered “to go” at the counter. First, the live music was so loud that the Cashier and I had to shout at each other to complete the order. It was supposed to take around 15 minutes, it took 25. No one came to the front counter for almost 10 min, and 3 other customers were also waiting. When it was my turn again, the young man asked me what I had ordered, since he couldn’t find the ticket. I had to hand him my receipt so they could see and complete the sides — really? Meanwhile, my pizza and 3 others were sitting on top of the oven for 10 min, so of course it had cooled and cheese had hardened by the time we got to eat. They clearly lack a good POS system, process and training. That would be acceptable if the food was amazing. It wasn’t.

The Margherita pizza we ordered was mediocre, at best, with cheese and basil clumped on top, and cheese missing from 3 of the 6 slices — clearly a “rush job”, which seems ironic (it also had no tomato, which is typically on Margherita pizzas.) The salad dressing was overpowered by vinegar (had to use our own dressing at home). Lastly, the Tiramisu was delicious, but the smallest slice we’ve ever had (2″x3″) — a total rip off for $8! See pics.

Sorry Mia’s, we won’t be back.

Quaint neighborhood Italian restaurant with creative menu and warm, friendly service. Several colorful locals who are all friends frequent the bar area & are very welcoming. Love it! The salmon was fantastic…cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to try the pizza next time…saw a dozen+ pizza boxes going out the door in the hour I was there. Mangia!

I’ve been coming here for a year plus. Phenomenal lasagna and today a new item at suggestion of manager. Travel out of my way to eat here on some days. Hanks for the great service, conversations, and the clowns who always seem to show their butts (rude customers) it’s entertaining.
