We had a great time here for dinner. So much so that we came back the night after. The lotus root fritters were our favorite and are a must try. It was appreciated how many items were vegan or could be made vegan. The selection made it exciting to come back a second time with friends to try new items and have them share our favorites. The cocktails and dishes were truly unique and absolutely delicious!

Tapas places hold a special place in my heart, and this place takes an interesting twist on the concept with asian tapas. It does an awesome job of having a variety of small dishes and larger ones for a traditional experience, but I only tried a lot of small ones. However, every single tapa i tried was delicious and used great quality ingredients. The service was good and the staff were super attentive and helpful in choosing what I should get. Great spot.

Wow what a great place. We had a bunch of the small plates and they were all delicious. The chicken satay skewers and the paneer were standouts. The vibe was great and all the staff were super friendly and attentive and kind. Our server Jake was awesome he felt like a friend by the time we left.

Mia’s was a treat. There were plenty of vegan and GF options in addition to the non veg offerings. We sat on the covered patio in the back as the main dining room was very cold.
Camila, our server, was very attentive and provided excellent service. The food was outstanding, and we especially enjoyed the lotus root fritters. They were so good I had to ask to make sure they were vegan/gf!
Treat yourself to this family owned and run delight in Ithaca.

Delicious food! We ordered 3 small plates each, and they were all packed with flavour and texture. The lotus root fritters and Asian greens (mini bok choy) were standouts. I also really enjoyed my plum cocktail. Great experience eating at Mia.

Loved our experience here. Ploy was a super friendly host and worked hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. Beautiful chandeliers! Art and ambience adds to the charm. But the food is the star of the show. So glad to meet “mom” who ran the original thai restaurant we went to when we lived here 30 years ago!❤️❤️ Chat say enough good things..we came for our 30th wedding anniversary.

We had a great experience here. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. My fiancé has severe food allergies, and we felt completely comfortable eating here. The first thing our waitress asked was if anyone had any allergies or dietary restrictions. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and what he could eat safely. Everything we tried was great. We recommend the sweet potato fries and the roast duck! The cocktails were just okay, but we didn’t mind because everything else was so yummy and the staff was so attentive, competent, and kind.

Mia was busy and seated is at the bar and then opened up a table before we ordered just for us. Very helpful. Offered in shifts to see if we were still hungry and had great Chans clams and the rest was good.

A few days ago I was able to visit Mia for the first time. I’m very glad we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, even on a weekday afternoon, the restaurant was packed. We were greeted, however, with a friendly staff member who told us we could be accommodated at the bar. The first impression of Mia was that they had a staff that knew what it meant to serve and be hospitable; skills, and character traits, that have been lost by many at this point in time. Our bartender(server) was very knowledgeable and not only was attentive, but made recommendations. The menu is rather involved, so we appreciated the assistance. Due to time constraints I won’t give a full run down of what we ordered, but, I will say, we were extremely impressed with the quality, creativity, and the care that was taken with each dish and drink. A standout… the chicken wings! I never thought I would order chicken wings in a fine dining establishment, but I am so glad I did. The wing was just a conduit for an incredible delivery of flavors. My wife doesn’t eat chicken wings… but wanted a second order! The other items riveled the level of quality and impressiveness. For timing reasons, I’ll flash forward to dessert a Thai banana cake that, upon arrival, made us question our order. It was displayed fine, but didn’t look like cake. But after we took a bite with the accompanying banana slices and the slurry of homemade caramel, we all had our spoons add the ready for bite number 2! Unbelievably delicious! All in all, we were more than satisfied with all aspects of this little gem on The Commons. Common it is not, and we’ll be back.
