My husband and I just had a very lovely Sunday dinner here for the 1st time. We started with Cesar salads. They were super fresh and the portion was very generous. The mussel appetizer was one of the best I ever had. The mussels quality was excellent and the sauce had a perfect amount of spice. The bread was served nice and warm.
For my entree, I had the Frutti de Mare special. My husband had chicken Ala Mia!
Both were Very delicious!
Since everything was so good, we had to try the dessert, so we opted for the bananas foster. Having our waiter prepare it fresh for us at table side was a nice experience and a perfect ending to our dinner date. Highly recommended Mia and can’t wait to go back!

Had a wonderful evening at Mia! The staff and owners were very welcoming, and we enjoyed a delicious meal. My wife and I ate from the specials menu, and both the stuffed pork chop and the Chilean sea bass were fantastic. One of our friends loved a shrimp starter we shared so much that she asked to have it as a pasta main course. No problem! The other pasta and chicken dishes our friends ordered were all great as well. After that, if you have room for dessert, ask for the flaming bananas! The ambiance was friendly and relaxed throughout. I love eating at places where there is zero pressure to hurry up and leave and the staff just want you to have a great time. Such was our experience at Mia, and I’m looking forward to returning soon!

Went there this weekend with friends and I had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, the calamari was amazing. I ordered the lamb for my main dish and it fell off the bone it was delicious. Before I left I had their espresso with cake, perfect way to end the meal. I look forward to going back!

While bicycling through Old Town Alexandria I stopped at this gem of a restaurant for lunch. I had one of the best meatball parmigiana sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. The toasted roll was perfectly filled with the most flavorful meatballs and fresh mozzarella. It was so good I took my girlfriend for dinner the next evening. I had lasagna and she had fettuccini ala fungi. We also ordered the large 18oz meatballs. Everything was absolutely fantastic, best meal we’ve had at a restaurant in a while. The drinks were delicious and generous with alcohol. The service was impeccable! Absolutely the best wait staff in a very busy environment. We were seated immediately and never had to wait or ask for service. Id give this place 10 stars if I could. Definitely go here!

Service was friendly but the food wasn’t really great especially compared to other Italian restaurants in NJ. No bread while we waited. Items had a freezer taste to them. “Prosciutto” used in the carbonara looked and tasted more like spiral ham (I know prosciutto is ham). If you’re an Italian food enthusiast or this restaurant is probably best to be avoided. On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being Olive Garden and 10 being actually eating in Italy I’d give it a 2.5.

We celebrated our daughters’ baptisms in their smaller party room and everything was excellent! Beyond impressed with the food and service…our friends and family cannot stop talking about how delicious everything was and how attentive the staff was. Highly recommend the restaurant if you’re looking for a BYOB event!

My boyfriend and I went here for my birthday dinner, and we both agreed that dinner at Mia’s was one of our best date nights ever. When we walked in, we got a variety of bread with pesto and oil and a fried zucchini appetizer ON THE HOUSE! We started with mozzarella sticks and calamari (with marinara and spicy marinara!). All appetizers were DELICIOUS. We ordered two chicken parms and Caesar salad to split with our entrees (all delicious and filling). Finally, we ended the night with the table side banana foster which was delicious (as expected) and such a treat with the show! We will absolutely go again and I already can’t wait for the next time.

Mia’s is my new favorite BYOB restaurant! You must try! Every meal has been delish! The chef is superb! Their tiramisu is outstanding (a must have). Prices reasonable! Lovely tablecloths and place settings. Service outstanding! Please try and always give a restaurant 2 chances! I don’t think you will be disappointed and hopefully you will return real soon!
